In Survival: The Ultimate Mission by Robert Skaf, he explores the concept of Wujūd, which represents the infinite facets of all existence and life (IFEL). Skaf asserts that Wujūd, a fundamental element in Arabic culture and literature, is the source of everything that has ever existed. It continually renews itself and has been present forever, making it impossible to trace its origins before the physical universe. Are you seeking to know more about the universe and understand how it works from a fresh perspective? This book might be what you’re searching for.

Skaf posits that the universe is infinite, rejecting the idea of voids or finite boundaries. Humanity, as a part of Wujūd, showcases its infinite capacity through creativity and achievements in various fields. He criticises religious explanations of creation, arguing that no deity can claim credit for what has always existed.

I like how the author was able to explain his points on the infinite nature of existence through the concept of Wujūd in a very clear way while making sure he doesn’t burden readers with unnecessary information. His ability to think deeply and come up with fresh insights on these topics is also commendable.

However, his ideas on anti-gravity, the infinite universe, dark matter, and other topics discussed in this book are not scientifically tested and proven, so they cannot be accepted as facts. Also, his views on religion and what it represents may reduce the scope of the audience that would want to read this book. I found no grammatical errors while reading through this book; hence, this book was exceptionally edited.

I will rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because, even though the author’s views may not be scientifically tested and proven, he clearly states throughout the book that these are just his views. In relation to his views on religion, he clearly states that he has no intention of talking down on any religion and that he respects all religions except those who may be extremists.

I recommend this book to those who are passionate and intrigued to know more about the workings of the universe. Those who enjoy reading topics related to philosophy, cosmology, or metaphysics will find this book interesting to read as it offers a fresh perspective on these areas.
