It is always a pleasure to read books such as this, stories that immortalize a loved one. Stories like this make us realize that with the right person/people, life can be beautiful. Thanks for your review.

I read this book at a time when our family was going through a similar situation. When I was reading this story I felt like I was a part of family. I exactly know how it feels to hear the worst words what doctor can say - it is a cancer.
Author describe very authenticly all emotions, all thoughts what came up to mind, all energy what person put to trying to find a way how to survive this fight. I love how author stayed open, showed vulnerability and all emotions without acting like everything is easy and will be ok but shows the truth of living a life where cancer knocked on the door.

This book pushes the readers to examine their mortality, care for their loved ones and make the best of life while they live. It reiterates the fact that human life is short and one can only participate in so much experiences; this is a reminder to engage in those things that give one the most fulfilment.

I've always loved memoirs and this one sounds right up my alley. What's more, I am a religious man and this book sounds like it centers on that. I already love it's themes and I look forward to getting started on it.

Families face a lot of obstacles and love is what keeps families together. The reality of death is, however, always there. I would love to go through life with Mona and see her life experiences. This is a great book to learn from. Congratulations on BOTD!

What an interesting family. A strong family unit. The character of Mona is appealing.
There are two certainties in this world said a former politician
Death and taxes.
The author weaves in life purpose , goals and achievements with the ever racing sand of time. I would like to know how he wove all those things together
A beautiful review.
