Your review has brought the book to life for me. I've always wondered about the Hare Krishna movement and this is the first time I'm seeing a book that gives some insight on them. I like the blend the author did with this, offering all-round refreshing.

I'm really excited to learn about what life was like in the 1960s. I want to find out how the main character explored the world back then and what kinds of challenges they faced.
Here we find person's who lives their small town for huge cities, they all work hard to have a good life, by the time they get in fortune part something shocking happened but they might be able to succeed and make it because of their hard work.
Hi @Effi R, I just read your comments on the official review of "The Divine Love Memoir" by Sankarshan Das and I would recommend you add more body to your comments. This was time period that truly shaped the future of the U.S. i.e. This a story about the 1960s counterculture movement, following a young man’s quest for love and peace in the exciting setting of San Francisco. This young man left his small town and traveled to northern California. The 1960s were very wild in San Francisco where hippies, musicians and psychic leaders congregated. Fights became prevalent especially at big events like the Altamont Free Concert where a murder occurred in the crowd of a Rolling Stones concert. The Hare Krishna group promoted their spiritual teachings to many and the main character explores different spiritual teachings including Hare Krishna on their quest for enlightenment. The writer’s style is very engaging and is perfect for this memoir. The descriptions are so vivid that I could imagine myself being there and participating with the hippies and attending the musical concerts and Vietnam war protests. @Mrlefty0706
