The Kingdom by Paul Wynne is a study of the Bible. It is a book to keep by your Bible. His profound insights into Jesus' teachings about the Kingdom and other biblical themes are cross-referenced with his inspirational and uplifting thoughts. I love his interpretation of Christianity “as a faith and practice.” He invites readers by saying, “I hope it is not only for Christian believers but also those with questions, different faith backgrounds, and truth seekers.”

He gives readers the history and facts of the Bible and explains why it is sacred by religions of the world. In 2 Timothy 3:16, the Bible says, “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.” The author leads the readers through topics, not only “The Kingdom,” but also “Messiah, the Promised One,” “The Gospel of Salvation,” and “The Gospel of the Kingdom.”

This is a splendid book. The book cover art is colorful, and the rendered image of The Kingdom is exquisite. The use of colored words, different fonts, and boldface types is outstanding, making reading delightful. The author frequently references the Scriptures and beautifully presents them throughout the book. This is a book that people will cherish for highlighting and making notations. It is an excellent book for gifting.

I have no dislikes about this book. There is only one typo that did not influence my overall rating. Everyone will find something inspiring in this book. As Revelation 22:17 says, “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.”

Reading both familiar and less familiar Scriptures affirmed my faith. For example, I was awe-struck reading Daniel 7:9–14, Daniel’s vision of the celebration of Jesus ascending to Heaven to his Father. Read about the Kingdom in these passages. For these reasons noted above, this book deserves a rating of 5 out of 5 stars.

The Kingdom seems like a thoughtful and well-crafted book. The way the author blends scripture with personal insights and deep reflection about the faith is appealing. While I appreciate the depth it offers, I’d probably pass on reading it for now since I prefer more structured approaches to studying the Bible. However, for anyone interested in exploring biblical themes with personal reflections, this book sounds like a great pick.

The way Paul Wynne interprets biblical themes and connects them with personal insights really stands out. I appreciate how he invites readers from various faith backgrounds, not just Christians. His focus on "faith and practice" resonates with me, and the Scriptures he highlights seem both inspiring and thought-provoking. I'm definitely interested in reading this one for a deeper understanding.
