When I started reading this book, I was a little bit confused because the title read A-Z From God to Thee: A New Christian's Guide to the Way, and I wasn't getting it. I was looking for the pattern "A is for Apple," "B is for Ball." Well, I figured it out toward the end of the book. The keywords that represent the "A" to "Z" pattern are in all caps in each given text!

Becky A. Crowe has done a great job in this book. I think the concept is impressive: crafting a simple, illustrated material that walks born-agains through some essential truths and realities about their newfound faith. The new believer will learn so many things from this book, including the transformative power of the cross, the incredible wisdom and guidance in the Bible, the importance of involving oneself in Christian gatherings and testifying of God's goodness, the need to conduct oneself in a way worthy of a follower of Christ, the mission of Satan and the potency of God's armor. These give the new believer a solid footing, preparing them for the journey ahead.

Each teaching is backed by three Bible quotes. The texts for these quotations are provided at the end of the book. This way, the new believer is not only nurtured in the Christian way but is also provided the avenues through which they can gain more insights or verify the teachings.

I think the illustrations can benefit from a more professional touch. But this didn't affect my reading or rating for this book. It sure delivered on its target as an introduction material for new Christian believers. The book is thoroughly proofread, concise and self-explanatory. For these reasons, I rate it 5 out of 5 stars.

Crowe's passion and commitment to the Great Commission are evident in this book. I feel this book is good material to help new Christians consolidate on the merits of their union with God the Father through Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit.

A-Z seems to be interesting, though the cover page with rainbow colors is giving me a second thought. Its a must read for me to find the answers of the questions in my head.

The A-to-Z concept is a clever way to guide new believers, and the emphasis on scripture makes it a solid foundation for learning. It sounds like a heartfelt and thoughtful resource for anyone starting their faith journey.
