First, I would like to say that it was such a pleasure to read Fast-Starting A Career of Consequence by Fred Sievert, and I wish I had read it earlier in my career. But maybe it was God's plan that I read it at this time because I can still work towards making further progress in my career. This book has offered the best advice I have read about how to achieve success and fulfillment while fulfilling your duties as a Christian.

There are several things I liked while reading this book. I liked that I learned the importance of prayer, how to pray, and who to pray for. I have been praying since I was a child, but I usually just pray for myself. However, after reading this book, I learned that I also have to pray for family members, friends, workmates, leaders, and people I have come across in life that have had an impact on me. I was surprised to learn that the author even has a list of people he prays for, and this inspired me to also write my own list.

Another commendable aspect of this book is the way each chapter was broken down. The author starts each chapter with a Bible verse and ends with a prayer. He also used his own experiences while explaining actionable steps in the book, and I was able to relate the examples he gave to my own life experiences. One major lesson I picked up from him was not to forget the golden rule, which is to do unto others that which you wish to be done unto you. To be frank, I had neglected this rule, but it was nice to be reminded about it.

Lastly, the author did a great job explaining the practical tips and strategies for fast-starting a career, and I have to admit that they were quite helpful. I am going to work on applying these tips and strategies to my own career, and I believe that I will achieve positive results.

I have nothing negative to say about this book since it had a great impact on me, and thus, I am rating it 5 out of 5 stars. The book seems to have been well-edited since I encountered no errors while reading it. I recommend this book to anyone interested in progressing in their career.
