Review of 111 days of mindfulness
111 Days of Mindfulness: Inspired by Rumi's Wisdom by Hind Mohsin is a book that provides serenity and peace in readers' minds. This book highlights Rumi's wisdom with the practice of mindfulness. This book gives readers a need for reflection and something to draw inspiration from. The author takes readers on a journey that lasts 111 days and also includes practical exercises to guide readers to a peaceful and happier life. Rumi was a Persian poet and spiritual leader. The author aims to add mindfulness to the lives of readers and create a deeper connection with our inner selves. Rumi's quotes are heartwarming and are like a life guide to self-discovery. Rumi's words encourage readers to be supportive and guide one another. Rumi's inspiring thoughts in this book and the idea of interconnectedness match perfectly with mindfulness principles.
Rumi's perspective on loss is something I liked in this book. Rumi stressed that loss is a transition to build resilience and allow new forms of growth. I liked how Rumi stressed the importance of introspection, meditation, and mindfulness. It allows us to find our true selves and align with our inner truth. Rumi suggests the need to engage in soul-resonating activities, as it breeds a life of fulfillment. I liked how the author stresses the importance of releasing and letting go of past negative experiences, as it hinders our progress. I liked that it encourages readers to face their fears. Not only that, but I liked how the author highlights the importance of embracing self-love, as fear and insecurities create barriers. Furthermore, I liked how Rumi highlights the need for persistence in overcoming life obstacles. I liked how the author stresses that imperfection and life challenges are essential for growth.
Overall, I strongly give this book a rating of five out of five stars for the reasons I mentioned earlier. I had nothing to dislike about this book, so I see no reason to deny this book a perfect rating. This book's editing was second to none, as I found no grammatical errors. I recommend this book to readers who want to embark on a journey of self-discovery and connect with their inner selves.
