Are you a woman seeking a devotional guide to help you deepen your connection with God and strengthen your faith in Him? Do you want to transform your stagnant life and increase your fruitfulness by abiding deeply in Christ? Would you like to embark on a wonderful spiritual journey to renew your life, overcome obstacles, and discover your life's purpose? If so, look no further and grab a copy of Increase Your Bloom Ability by Cheri Strange. This Christian devotional, specifically meant for women, acts as a daily guide to foster spiritual growth and lead us to a fruitful life God has intended for us. This self-help book is designed to help us attain a deeper bond with God and support us in moments of uncertainty when we feel stuck in our lives.

The author has based the book on John 15. The book has 5 chapters, and each chapter is further divided into daily sections, making a total of 40 days. Each day has a thought-provoking heading. It is followed by a Bible verse and concludes with a short prayer. I love the daily prayer, which was concise and to the point. In each daily section, the author shares personal anecdotes that are interesting to read and make us connect with her easily. The conversational writing style helps us to immerse ourselves in the book, creating a feeling that the author is right with us. Her thoughtful questions help us to reflect on ourselves. The use of simple words makes the reading experience pleasant, with no complexity or boredom.

In her book, the author emphasizes that Christ is the True Vine, and we are branches connected to Him. She highlights the importance of prayers and stresses the necessity of practicing them regularly. Through her daily prayers, she helps us to restore and deepen our faith and trust in God. She discusses how discipline and avoiding temptation help us bloom in our lives. She inspires us to be courageous by anchoring us to God. Further, she explains the importance of building each other up through encouragement. She asks us to rely on God wholly and believe in Him always. Also, she encourages us to surrender fully to Christ and express gratitude for our lives, assuring us that God will always be there for us.

I have to mention the layout of the book. I absolutely loved the beautiful fonts, stunning flower patterns, and amazing colors. The design perfectly complemented the book's theme and was visually appealing. At the beginning of the book, the flowers appear dull and colorless. But as the book progresses, the flowers become vibrant and colorful, denoting growth and blooming.

While reading, I noticed a few errors. So, I believe another round of editing would be required. Other than that, I didn't observe any other shortcomings in the book. However, the errors were not distracting enough for me to reduce my rating. Therefore, my rating for this book would be 5 out of 5 stars.

To conclude, I would say that this book will be a perfect fit for Christian women who want to flourish in their lives by abiding in God. It can be used as a personal guide or for group study. Also, I believe that individuals from other religious backgrounds who are open to Christianity may enjoy this book. I can personally attest to this. Even though the blurb attracted me, being a Hindu, I was a bit skeptical about reading this book. But I have to admit that I really enjoyed the reading experience. Although the book is rooted in Christianity, its core messages apply to any form of spirituality. Thus, even if you belong to a different religion, having an open mind toward Christianity might make you appreciate this book.

John 15 is one of the greatest chapters in the Gospel of John, and it is good to see that the author has based abiding in Christ as the root of fruitfulness. I would definitely like to see how the author exposits John 15. Many thanks for the review, @Priya Murugesan.

Your appreciation for its "conversational writing style," "thoughtful questions," and stunning, evolving "flower patterns" clearly shows its impact. It's especially powerful that, as a Hindu, you found its core messages universally applicable. Thanks for reviewing such a visually appealing and spiritually enriching story.

This author went out of their way to help the reader get close to Christ and find their purpose in life. The effect of the artistic blooms getting brighter as the book progresses is a nice idea and allows the reader to feel that progress is being made. The author's engaging prose is also a plus. Thank you for this thorough review.

Good review! I am glad that you enjoyed the book. However, I am not religious anymore, so this book would not suit me. For those who are, it sounds like a good book to read.
