Embody Wholeness” by Judith Hoaglund is much more than a book—it feels like a guide, a companion, and a gentle hand holding yours through the journey of healing. From the very first chapter, I felt that this book was written with love, vulnerability, and deep care for the reader.

Judith doesn’t just teach about healing—she lives it. Her personal stories are not just shared to fill pages; they carry real emotion and offer a sense of comfort and honesty. She shows that healing is not a straight path but a process of reconnecting with parts of ourselves we’ve forgotten, avoided, or silenced. As someone who has struggled with emotional wounds, I found her message incredibly comforting.

One of the most powerful parts of the book is how it links the physical body with the emotional and spiritual self. Judith explains, in clear and relatable language, how trauma can live in the body, and how true healing means listening to what our body is trying to tell us. That made me reflect a lot about my own experiences—how often I’ve ignored physical pain without realizing it was connected to emotions I hadn’t dealt with.

The book also touches on spiritual awareness, energy healing, and self-compassion. Even though I don’t follow a specific spiritual practice, I felt welcomed and respected by her words. Her approach is inclusive and open-hearted. She invites the reader to trust their own inner truth, rather than forcing any belief system. That made the reading experience feel safe and personal.

While the tone of the book is peaceful and nurturing, I admit that some parts—especially those about energy fields and light work—were harder for me to fully grasp. However, Judith’s gentle way of writing encouraged me to stay curious rather than intimidated.

I appreciated the small reflections and practical exercises throughout the book. They helped me not just read the message but actually pause and feel it. The pace of the book naturally encourages mindfulness. It’s not the kind of book you rush through—it invites you to breathe, think, and return to yourself.

In conclusion, “Embody Wholeness” is a touching and transformative book for anyone on a path of self-discovery, healing, or spiritual growth. I believe that readers who are open to inner work will find it meaningful, even life-changing. Judith Hoaglund’s voice is one of compassion, authenticity, and hope—and I’m grateful I had the chance to read her words.

The book highlights the often-overlooked spiritual realm that coexists with the physical world, reviving ancient communication and healing practices that have been largely forgotten with the rise of modern medicine, as practiced by the author with notable mastery and success.

I have read this book but that's not one of my choices. But if I see it by someone's else's view who loves to read spiritual or energetic books I would say it's a big Yes to this book. It gives me vibes like a gentle energy. It's warm and clearly written. It believes in self - guided healing and tells its ways to individuals. All over it's great.

“Embody Wholeness” by Judith Hoaglund is not really the type of book I’d read because I do not believe in the idea the book is trying to pass on. Nevertheless, it seems likes a very good book especially for those who believe in those kind of things. Congratulations on being BOTD.

Although the book seems to be well-written and sounds interesting, this is the type of read I would not engage given my Christian beliefs.

I don't have knowledge about shamanism. I think I've heard about the shamanic healing method somewhere. It is common practice related to certain cultures and traditions about alternative medication. The author also explains the science behind this method. This book is recommended for open-minded readers who are interested in a mystical approach. Thank you for an insightful review.

Definitely not my cup of tea, because I don't believe in healing by the way of cleansing spiritual energy. Don't get me wrong, I am not opposed to natural healing, but as much as I know, even shamanic methods in most cases require some kind of remedy, so I prefer to skip this book.

Immersion in the spiritual realm is not child's play, nor is it for the faint of heart. Thanks for an engaging review.

Thank you for such a thorough and insightful review. I found it fascinating that the author not only presents shamanic healing methods but also ties them to scientific theories and includes references for further reading—that shows real thoughtfulness toward skeptical or curious readers. I appreciate that the book encourages open-mindedness without coming off as pushy, especially since spiritual topics can be quite polarizing. Your point about the book possibly resonating more with one gender is intriguing and makes me want to read it more closely to see if there’s an intentional pattern or reason behind it. Overall, this seems like a valuable read for those seeking a deeper understanding of energy healing and spirituality beyond conventional practices.

I think what I most appreciated about this review is the comment about how the author seemed to be able to share their knowledge with neutral language. If one is minimally wary about this kind of information, I think it's easy to fall into dismissing and devaluing both the topic and the person sharing it at the slightest indication of what may be interpreted as manipulative language.
