I agree that the spiritual realm exists and one can tap into healing and wholeness from it. I don't know much about shamanism, but this book has piqued my interest.

I am not against alternative and complementary medicine per se, but I find it highly unlikely to be healed by simply "clearing unwanted cached energy". No offense meant, but it just sounds to my ears like a placebo effect and while some substantial practices, like massage, are in some cases better than traditional approaches like surgery, the shamanic healing process described here leaves me full of doubt. Apologies and congratulations, anyway!

A book on spiritual energy healing using shamanic methods, Judith Hoaglund's "Embody Wholeness" discusses the varied applications and successful testimonies of people who have been through the process. The peculiarities of the book is why I'm not inclined to read it, however audience interested in mystic healing may wish to know more.

“Embody Wholeness” by Judith Hoaglund is a book on spiritual energy healing using shamanic methods. The book reviews the varied applications and successful testimonies of people who have been through the process of both the spiritual cleansing and imaginable hypnosis of clearing unwanted cached energy that has negative influences on individuals. Judith had been told for many years that she should write a book about this healing process and finally did during the COVID-19 pandemic. Most people are unaware of their spiritual realm that works in tandem with our physical realm as they exist simultaneously. Our ancestors used different means to communicate with this realm without any proper medical knowledge. In today’s world of modern medicine, these old processes have been forgotten. There are a few people, including the author, that have gained a level of mastery and success with her shamanic healing process and the book includes many successful stories. One needs to read the book to understand how she uses the shamanic healing process. Readers need to have an open mind when reading about this process especially when most medical doctors only use modern medicine. Judith included detailed explanations for anything that might boggle the minds of some readers and she was able to use scientific theories to explain certain occurrences and she provided references for further reading. Some religious people might have a problem with these processes and may consider them blasphemy which is why readers need to keep an open mind when learning about shamanism. Native Americans used shamanism and it was practiced by the Medicine Man. Some religious people may condemn shamanism because they do not want to lose their jobs as priests or ministers. I strongly believe that these practices are not competing with God or prayer and shamanism has been practiced for thousands of years. I imagine people that have been told they are dying would be open to any form of treatment but one should not wait that long. My sister passed away from a form of cancer that had spread through most of her body in less than three months. I would think she would have been open to shamanism, especially when modern medicine gave her no hope for recovery or even slowing down the cancer. The same would be true for her husband that died from an inoperable tumor lodged behind his eye. His form of cancer was common in Southeast Asia and while the Navy never admitted that agent orange had caused this form of cancer in many Naval pilots and the midshipmen that loaded agent orange on the bombers used to drop them on the North Vietnamese. I am a Catholic and my sister and her husband were practicing Catholics their entire lives. She died at age 73 while he passed away at age 50. This kind of chemical warfare has been banned by the United Nations for many years. Putin is now resorting to the use of chemical weapons in Ukraine as have some deceased dictators used in Iraq and other middle east countries. Once I have read the book, I should be able to answer a question that popped into my mind regarding the “Last Rites” administered when a Catholic is dying. Could this rite have come from Shamanism? The sample was excellent and I want to read the entire book.

Embody Wholeness by Judith Hoaglund seems like a great read for self-help enthusiasts. I don't know much about shamanic healing, so I'll pass on this one.

The author dissects the topic of spiritual energy healing and focuses on shamanic methods. Open-minded or curious readers will enjoy the author's take. However, religious readers will have some qualms with the book. Included are testimonies of people who have been through the spiritual cleansing process.

"Embody Wholeness" by Judith Hoaglund appears credible, going by the author's wealth of experience in spiritual healing and shamanic processes. I have always admired the ancient practices our ancestors used to heal themselves before the advent of modern medicine.
