Discover the Power of Laughter by Sarah Routman and Rachael Siegelman was a sweet, engaging non-fiction book with a lot of personality and a lot of valuable insight to offer readers. This could be described as a self-help book, although it was more dynamic than that in my opinion. I rate this impactful book 5 out of 5.

Something I enjoyed immediately was the unique fact that there were two authors contributing to this book. This means not only two unique perspectives but also two unique personalities went into writing this. Although the authors are identical twins, they differ greatly in many ways, which provided a more diverse perspective than you’ll usually experience. I admired how the twins spoke of being inspired by one another throughout different phases of their lives; it added a deeper level of emotion and connection.

There wasn’t anything I disliked about the writing, and I failed to find any spelling or grammar mistakes; therefore, I gave this a perfect rating.

There was a gentle vibe I got from reading Discover the Power of Laughter; it felt encouraging like how a loving parent talks to a young child, and it created a safe, comfortable space within the pages. There were no inappropriate adult themes or severe profanity found in this book, so it is equally suitable for all ages. I think the younger generation could benefit greatly from this book; starting purposeful and playful laughter young, like co-author Sarah did, could give people happier, healthier lives in the long run.

Overall, Discover the Power of Laughter by Sarah Routman and Rachael Siegelman is a great read that I would highly recommend to all readers, especially people hoping to become more positive or joyful. I never realized how healing laughter could be, so this book was a serious eye-opener and a true inspiration.

Laughter can be a great source of healing, and I hope that the authors included sufficient data or research on the same. On the path to live a more fulfilling life, hope matters a lot and it is great to read that this book is a good addition to those desiring to live more positive or joyous lives. I have enjoyed reading the review, @Emily Walmsley.
