The Natural Healing Book of Cures by Terry Cooksey is a practical guide to prevent and cure any disease. He talks about the causes of illness and how we can avoid these. This book presents some disturbing information about the American health care system and the Government. But most of all the Natural Healing Book of Cures is about one man who cured himself of chronic illness and now, through his experience others can do so too.

Terry Cooksey's experience in inspirational, doctors claimed that his condition is incurable, bur he proved them wrong. The process was not easy, it involved turning his entire lifestyle around. So, he started to pay more attention to what he was eating and eliminated certain food products and beverages from his diet. While he turned away from toxic food, he turned towards vitamins and herbs. But it was not all about food; water is one of the most important elements of life. Terry Cooksey found out on his own skin the difference filtered water makes.

After years of research and experimentation, the author is willing to share the precious information with anyone who will listen. Terry mentioned several occasions when he got into some heated altercations around the theme of natural remedies. The beginning of the book is mostly about his experience and his opinion about the American health care system and how the people are purposefully poisoned through food products. Especially here his tone might seem a bit aggressive and not just enthusiastic.

The lack of spacing in the text, made it a bit harder to read, my eyes got tired sooner. And I did not really care for the many “LOL”s in the text, they just distracted me. The same thing goes for using only capital letters for some words, which to me was rather overused. But I found the pictures helpful and I was glad to see websites from where several of the products he is talking about can be purchased.

The greatest thing about The Natural Healing Book of Cures is that it makes a person responsible for his health, so it pushes people to help themselves and gives them the will to fight. It also gives them the weapons with which to fight against illness. Terry Cooksey talks about many methods to improve one’s health and he gives a lot of useful lists. Some are about vitamins, herbs and other products, with a short description for each and their use. Others are about illnesses, which are also described and methods of treatment are presented. As a sort of bonus, Terry has a chapter about treating pets and another about How to Have an Organic Garden.

I give the Natural Healing Book of Cures 3 out of 4 stars, only because the text was too tight and it made the reading harder and because the “LOL”s bothered me. However this is a very useful book and I believe that every household should have one.
