The EFT Tapping Blueprint is a short how to book. It explains and outlines the tapping practice known as the Emotional Freedom Technique and provides step by step instructions on how to do this therapy yourself.

The book breaks down the procedure into five simple steps, giving detailed instructions on how to proceed. These five steps help you to identify an emotional issue that you need to deal with. Perhaps you have anger issues that are hindering your work or you need to boost you self esteem. Once you know what the issue is and have a name for it, you then evaluate how stressful and raw the issue is, set yourself up emotionally to deal with the issue and then use the technique to tap it away.

There are also some tips on how to use the technique to manifest goals in your life. For instance if you wish for more money but have emotional hang ups that are stopping you from getting the money, EFT can help you remove the road blocks.

For what it is, this book is fairly straight forward and complete. Having been already somewhat familiar with the EFT process I found this blueprint a nice review. It helped me remember the details and maybe use the technique a little more effectively. It made it very clear what order to do the steps and gave good descriptions of the points on the body used. I also especially like the reminders on how to manifest goals using EFT.

My only criticism would be that if I had been reading about EFT for the first time, I’m not sure this book would have made the process completely clear to me. The section on how to start tapping lists some things that you could say to start out but it doesn't make it clear how to work your way through the whole releasing process. Frankly I learned these statements much better from some short videos that I watched online. There is a logical sequence of thoughts that you can go through that is very effective and I don’t believe this book covers that.

I give the book 3 out of 4 stars, taking off a star for the reasons stated above. I can say from experience that EFT works and from that viewpoint I can recommend this book to anyone who would like to explore and release their negative emotions. The technique can also enhance positive emotions, but this book doesn't really deal with that, it is a very basic beginner’s book.
