Yes there will be points that you have already heard... but there will be so many refreshers and inspiration and motivation, enough to make you think again, tick again, get you to action and make the necessary change ... to dig deeper within yourself and your worth again and what you can bring to the table... for yourself and others around you. Good for you!
You may want to keep a journal while reading it, in order to capture thoughts, ideas and notes that come to mind about yourself, while reading the book. It loosens thoughts and heart’s desires and gifting about you, guiding one to have an inner look into your own plans, purposes etc.
The writer truly goes out to inspire you to find your treasure or potential and to truly unleash or apply it in and through your life. If you don’t have anyone in your life interested enough to encourage you or to mentor you on your way of self discovery and unleashing your ideas, then read this book.
The writer is truly cheering you on to discover your “gold” and to unleash it for the benefit of yourself and mankind around you and out there. You can hear him cheering you on, encouraging you to step out and to start acting out your desires, beliefs, ideas, your true self and for you to discover more about yourself so you can see that there is much more in you than you realised up to now.
While reading Chapter 3, I really had a heartfelt desire, to encourage the author. How? By starting and accomplishing something great, due to reading this book. I guess, I felt he had put everything out there to encourage the reader, and to get them motivated for action towards something of their own choice and heart's desire... I wish they would let him know that the book did mean something to them and did got them to act on their dreams and ideas!
The author can be seen as a mentor... spurring you on to accomplish the things that only you can accomplish through discipline and perseverance, focus and vision and ACTION!
Furthermore, as I read this book, I was regularly reminded that I do not have an adequate English vocabulary. I jotted down some English words, in order to look up their meanings, but it didn't hinder me to grasp the authors point and thoughts.
It will take hard work to accomplish one’s goals and life purposes! Commitment to self, discipline, time and effort!
The book showed me some weaknesses I have to work on, but it also highlighted some giftings I have. While reading the book, I also had many things come to me, that I jotted down, as my goals towards which I need to move. I even got to action on one of them! The book keeps reminding you that you should not just sit and do nothing, looking at life passing you by. Do something! Live! You owe it to yourself at least! It is a responsibility... resting on your shoulders...your own responsibility, that you need to make happen!
As one reads the book, you will do much introspection. It is about you. Your life. You count and you need to bring what you have to the table. Share. You are valuable.
As you read the book, you begin to feel as if the writer really cares. There isn’t many people that really care to help others reach their dreams or potential... one almost wish one could sit and talk with the writer or find a life coach or mentor that would have the same care and interest to want to really help you reach your full potential. It really is a pity that there isn’t many such people, interested to mentor others, giving time, effort, in helping others grow and reach their goals, but I mean... really care. Not about money, not about 42 weeks, not about an assignment, a project... really wants to help YOU.
One easily reads through the book, the pages aren’t too long and the font is not too small. One may feel like one is emptying cupboards, throwing out some old rags and focussing on the good ones, revamping your cupboards, sorting out stuff and boxes – while moving house.
“Many were born into this earth, they eat and live for several years, and then they die. Life is beyond that!” - This statement really gripped me. And it is so true. Life is more than eating and drinking and surviving. If one human being can impact the world around him/her, then each individual can, including me. It is my responsibility to do something! To get started!
I loved the part about “Energy”. You have to put it in action. You have it. Don’t let it just sit there! Get it into action!
I also really appreciated the part on “Time Management” - Time is valuable if you do something valuable with it! It made me realise how important it is to use one’s time, every hour, as a valuable expensive resource, to work for you not against you!
There is so many “Tips and Discussion Points” that I can’t make mention of them all in the review, but if you would like to get more out of life, than just doing the same stagnant routine day in and day out... hunger for more, because you are not fulfilled and feel frustrated with your life, looking for purpose and know that you need change.. Then this book is for you! Read it. Make notes while doing so and get to ACTION. IT IS ALL ABOUT ACTION! You CAN’T JUST READ THIS BOOK AND NOT ACT ... YOU WILL WANT TO DO SOMETHING AND YOU WILL GET TO ACTION!
