Book review - In my dreams I dance - Anne wafula strike.

Post by Leesh94 »

This is my first book review to get my count up,so please bare with!
In my dreams I dance is a book that has been sitting on my shelf for at least a year, until two days ago as I've ran out of books to read, and for once I've never been so happy that I've ran out of books.
I will give a tip from the right of so people don't spoil the book for themselves like I did. (Although it's totally up to you)
So I wouldn't advise googling her name out of curiosity as it really does kill the cat!
But it has been on BBC one as a documentary which is my next thing on my to do list!

This book is very moving and inspirational and a must read I would recommend to anyone!
Anne Wafula Strike has battled many obstacles in her life to get where she has today, reading this book made me realise that no matter what life throws at you it can be overcome if you set your mind to it, Anne is a woman from Kenya who had been dealing with a disability from a young age, she has to overcome and battle through prejudice and many setbacks to show that no matter what disability or problems you may have there is always something out there that you can do to succeed and become great in life, I couldn't put it down, now I've finished reading I want to continue finding out more about Anne and her story.
