How to Be a Woman by Caitlin Moran

Post by lmoses »

How to Be a Woman by Caitlin Moran is a witty, funny, and honest look at serious parts of Caitlin's life, both as a woman and feminist. I truly enjoyed how she was able to bring personality and laughter into what many consider to be taboo subjects: menstruating, puberty, abortion, relationships, ect. I was able to relate with so many themes in the book and found myself laughing out loud during several pages. I rated this book 4 out of 4 stars for her ability to pull the reader into her life and demonstrate how her experiences have shaped her. I recommend this for anyone interested in reading a woman's POV on what it means to be a feminist and woman.
