Mindfulness (being in the moment) at its best as we are walking with God. Wallace takes us on one of his walks to help us see the benefits and blessings of a daily walk (with God). As we walk alongside him it is almost enchanting to be reminded of all of the wonders in our world and ourselves. Reading this book not only encouraged me to get out for a daily walk but also "smell the roses" along the way. The pace of life today is rapid fire, but Wallace reminds us that if we will pause long enough to take a walk (both figuratively and literally) with God, we will be able to accomplish so much more than if we just rush into and through life.
