The Battle of Identity

Post by Vermont Reviews »

The Battle of Identity by Emmanuel O. Afolabi.
The review was done in exchange for a free copy of this excellent book.
I found this Christian book to be one that each and every Christian should read. Knowing our Identity in Christ Jesus is a constant battle. The author offers encouragement throughout his book to each of us. One of my favorite lines in the book “The Bible… read it to be wise, believe it to be safe, and practice it to be holy.” Who do we choose to identify with? The author asks? To truly know the answer we need to come to understand who we truly are. The book is well written. I believe that the author has many more books to write. Another of my favorite lines from the book. “Readers are leaders and they are history makers. “ Knowing our spiritual authority as the book states is so very important in today’s world. One more line that I really like. “The person who lives and dies, defying, delaying, denying, and distancing himself from God stands the danger of missing out on an eternal life.” I look forward to reading more by this talented author. I rated this book a solid 5 Stars.
