Summary of the 4-Hour Work Week
By Summary Books

From the introduction to the conclusion the author covers the most important topics to make the 4-hour work week a possibility in your life. One of my favorite lines from the book. “If you are ready to move away from a life where you feel underpaid and overworked, follow the 4-hour work week plan and begin to change your life for the better.” You will definitely want to read this book. You will learn about the DEAL strategy and put amazing changes in place that will free you up to do the things that you have only dreamed of. D= Definition E= Elimination A= Automation L= Liberation by following this strategy you will come up with a plan of your own. Finding a different way of doing things better. Learn to free up your time to do the things that you want to do. It will change the way that you think about many things. Money, Stress, learning to be more assertive about what really matters. The author does a great summary of the original book. This book has the information to help you enjoy and develop the habits necessary for a great lifestyle. Solid 5 Star rating. Well written. I would like to read more by this author.

Hello Vermont Reviews

I definitely agree with you. I first read this book in the summer of 2014 and it has not left my side since then. This book opened my mind up to thousands of possibilities and I refer to some passage in it at least once a day. Personally I don't look at it as a way to actually work 4 hours a week, but to find faster resources for creating more productivity into my day and rethinking what it means to earn money while simultaneously creating a life worth living for me and my family full of experiences and adventures.

The phrase that fell on me like an anvil and got me to re-examine my life and what I wanted out of it was Retirement Is Worst-Case-Scenario Insurance. It was absolutely right! If I work my butt off for thirty, forty or fifty plus years at a job that I really don't enjoy there is no guarantee that I am going be able to enjoy the retirement years. I may not even make to the retirement years. That phrase really woke me up! So now I am working to find a life where I love the work that I do to make money and enjoy my life with experiences that I would have normally waited for retirement.

Excellent appraisal I really liked your comments. None of us like working at something we don't enjoy. You might as well do something you love and make less and enjoy it more. At least get paid for doing something you love.
