Way too hard and emotionally draining in my opinion to read about thing like cancer and death. I won't be reading this book any time soon, no offense meaning, but it's just not my type of thing.

I can relate to the author because I have known several people that have had cancer. Unfortunately just like the author's husband they succumb to the disease. I have seen how in the worst of circumstances people do not dwell on the negative, but do their best to enjoy the positive while they still can. I think that as people who do not experience the hardships that cancer patients and survivors have faced we can all learn a lot from their stories.

Memoirs are not my cup of tea besides the topic of the book is not something I would choose to read. But the review is very enthusiastic and I'm sure the book will find its reader. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

I was going to pass this one by simply because out family has experience so much loss in the last few years because of cancer. But since this book is more focused on hope than grief, I may give it a try. Thanks for the great review 😊

I have mixed feelings about this book. It seems to be a well-written account of tragic but true events. As such, it is the type of book to read when you're in the mood to handle emotional topics such as terminal illness. While I commend the author for sharing her personal story, I'm not up to reading about death right now (even though it involves a positive attitude toward the subject).

You make this sound like such a beautiful book, and like such an amazing reading experience. I hope I can muster up enough courage to read it, I fear it will be so sad. I really love this review though and the way you take us through all the different emotions you felt when reading.

This sounds like a beautifully written memoir of both love and loss. I'm afraid I would get way too emotional reading it though, so I'll give this one a pass. Beautifully done review!

I'm not usually a fan of memoirs, but this sounds too inspiring and poignant to miss. Well done on the review!

I was never for non-fiction but your review said that it's like reading a novel because of the author's superb writing style. Also not for sad stories, but this one sounds inspiring like the author. Will check this book out. Thanks for your review!

I must admit when I first saw the title of this book, I wasn't sure it was for me. I have been through very similar circumstances and felt it may be too painful. Then I read your heartfelt and sincere review and my thoughts have changed. This is the perfect book for others going through/been through that pain and grief. I am sure it will help many people. Well done on the review.

The book title and the book cover attract me like no other. Although there is sadness in the story, the hope evident in it makes this novel a winner in my shelf. A calming read to all of us!

I would have never even considered whether it is necessary to die well before finding out about this book. I am very thankful to the author for opening my eyes. Excellent review.
