This collection of essays does sound interesting. However, personal life stories are not usually my favorite kind of book. Thanks for the wonderful review, though!

Memoirs are not my cup of tea, but I've read the review and should say that the author has experienced a lot of things in his life and learnt a lot of lessons to last a lifetime and judging by the title of the book would never want to change any of these things as they are what made him the person he is today. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

I remember this was BOTD before. I'm glad the author heeded the advice of earlier reviewers. I enjoyed the sample and look forward to reading more of the good times in Charles' life.

This is a book I might read because it highlights how small things make up the one big picture Sacchetti calls life. The amazing way his dreams and success and choices are all connected. Still, I'm reluctant - a little lazy - to read nonfiction. This is a nice review. Just not my cup of tea. :eusa-think:

This does sound like a good book for a bad day. I love the inclusion of photographs and references to music and movies. It's not for me, but I'm glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for a great review!

Italian-American themes usually engender interesting stories. You sure made the book sound great. Thank you for an entertaining review. It was a pleasure to read! :tiphat:

Re: Offical Review: IT'S ALL GOOD: TIMES AND EVENTS I'D NEVER WANT TO CHANGE By Author Charles Sacchetti

Just reading the review of this book, I had the feeling that I was listening to the story of this family.

This book is written so well, that the reader is able to visualize the images the author describes on the page.

This book review brings about the feeling of sharing the emotions of sadness, happiness and accomplishment that the author relays on the page.

This was a fun review and I will read the full book and recommend it to others.

Indeed everyone's life if full of essays which are good, some results to post-excitement while others results to regrets and sorrow.
It's amazing how the author gives life experiences to teach, entertain and inspire the readers. I love it.

A memoir in the form of a collection of short stories certainly sounds unique, and the author’s superb storytelling skill shines through. Great review.

Cecilia L writes an outstanding review of the book, It's All Good: Times and Events I'd Never Want to Change by Charles Sacchetti. The author reminisces about his life in an Italian-American family. My interest in the book is the fact that he is a baby boomer, and so am I. My bookshelf is growing as I am going to include this book as a must-read as well. Mr. Sacchetti writes short stories of his life which are prolific and unique, and I enjoy essays and short stories.

This seems like a great book, with its 27 essay and picture at the beginning of the essay seems awesome. Nice review.

I’m a bit burnt out on memoirs for now, but this one does look very sweet. It’s kind of fun to go back in time to reminisce about how things “used to be”. Great job on another review.

Non-fiction and the memoir - all in one and both my unfavourable. It is nothing personal and no offense is meaning to author, just my personal opinion. Congrats on BOTD, anyway!
