I love poetry. The hidden messages, plot twists and simple things being deeper meanings is something to read about. Illustrations in poetry are just amazing. I love this book. Thank you for the review.

I've always loved poetry because poems are essentially the raw expression of human emotions and feelings. I'm curious to read the author's "12 commandments" for understanding poetry. Thanks for your review!

I'm not a fan of poetry because I find it hard to understand it.
But from the review, this affirms that the writer has done a great job in explaining poetry.
so I recommend this to poetry lovers and probably, those finding it difficult to understand it too.
Thanks for the great review.

Since I overdosed on poetry and its analysis in college, I think I'll be skipping this. But I'm glad that someone has taken it upon himself to help educate those who want to know more about how to read and interpret it. Congrats to Mr. Last on his achievement and on achieving BOTD.

Poetry has never appealed to me for whatever reason. This looks like a fascinating book. I suppose I'll read the book before I dismiss it totally, especially since it's on Amazon for a discounted price. Congrats to the author on winning the #BOTD award. And great job on the review

"Making Sense of Poetry" by Rex W Last. Even with the name of the poetry, it makes sense, it's meaningful. It's a non fiction book for readers to understand the 12 commandments which helps in the interpretation of poems. Congrats on BOTD.

I’ve never been a huge fan of poetry despite having studied it in my English lit. classes, but maybe this author’s approach will make poetry more entertaining for me.

I have owned many poetry collections in my life but unfortunately fail to enjoy them as I barely understand half the content. This book seems to be the remedy for this, should definitely help me appreciate one of the richest art forms. Thanks for the great review.

Thank you for an informative review! I love poetry; however, sometimes, the complexity behind some poems is hard to understand. This novel sounds like an excellent self-help guide to anyone that would like to learn poetry. Learning new vocabulary is also impressive; I did not know that “pretty” meant “cunning” in the 14th century.
I look forward to reading this book!

A book about poetry that helps one who doesn't understand poetry appreciate the beauty of poetry... Thank you for the insightful review... The commandments were a plus to the book.

I'm not a fan of poetry books, however, the fact that this book contains poem interpretation for readers and provides the solution to these exercises would make me have a rethink on this particular book. Congrats to the author on being the day!

I don't think I'll appreciate poetry but this review is giving me a second thought. I'll love to learn new vocabularies as well.
