When Life Doesn't Turn Out the Way We Hoped It Would? Volume 1 by Tom Wick is an autobiography. Child abusing causes troubled childhood for the children and it should be stopped and punished. Congratulations on #BOTD.

An interesting autobiography "When Life Doesn't Turn Out the Way We Hoped It Would? Volume 1" by Tom Wick, which gives us the details of the author's upbringing with dysfunctional childhood and the way it affected him. The book tells us about the importance of forgiveness. I like to read this book.

This autobiography, narrating the author's first twenty years of his life, will appeal most to readers who have been struggling with substance abuse or those who have passed through dysfunctional family. I like it that the book is well-written; however, I don't think it's my kind of story. Otherwise, congrats on the BOTD.

Thanks for the review! I think that the author is very brave in telling his story. I found it very interesting that he was a peg-leg pirate in the Pirates of the Caribbean Disney movie; I want to read the book to find out more about that. :)

I really commend the author for getting his story out there. The trauma and trials and tribulations he faced sound extensive and I'm really glad he was able to overcome them. Great review!

I really don't fancy memoirs, so I'm going to have to skip this one. Thank you for the review.

It's very painful for a child to involve in the characters of his father. The emotional trauma had wage him down.
I think everyone should learn from Tom Wick, especially children, who are not obedience to their parents.
Thank you for the review.

Thank you for your review. This is a difficult topic to read. So sad that some people have such an unfair start to life. It's important though for people to understand these situations. A must read for someone interested in sociology or human services.

Thanks for this great review. This book is quite inspiring and life changing. I believe that if we understand life well and face it with every audacity like Tom, there will be less or no case of suicide in the world today.
Thank you Tom for this wonderful book.

Thank you for your review. I read the sample and found it amazing what all he survived through. It would have been nice if he had just drawn the genealogy paths. I also liked his sense of humor when describing the pictures. His writing was simple to read, though. I will have to wait to decide if I want to read this in the future or not.
