Though concrete and marble polishing is a bit of specialized skills that requires specific tools and materials to perform, I appreciate the author for sharing the experience and knowledge of such. This enriches the book rather than considering it as just educational book. To be honest I couldn't manage to download the free copy due to region-not-supported error in Amazon but I skimmed a sample and I agree with the reviewer about the edit work. Other than that, I would thank the author for sharing his life and profession experiences through this book. I also appreciate the review, good job.

I like that the book is a practical guide for those willing to go into the ceramic tile installation business. The author talks about all aspects of flooring and polishing. The author's years of experience show they have the ability to impact others based on personal experience in this business, and this will be a valuable asset to those looking to head in this direction in their careers. This is not the type of book that would ordinarily interest me, but I believe I can learn a thing or two that might come in handy when choosing a home or remodeling. It can also help me negotiate and relate better with those who have this expertise, especially when interacting with them. Thank you for the detailed review although I can tell this was written a while ago it's still helpful. Congratulations to the author on being selected for BOTD.

Your review offers a well-rounded perspective on *Affordable Learning Guide: Concrete & Marble Polishing, And Many other Specialty Skills*. It's clear that the book serves as a valuable resource for those looking to start a stone restoration business, thanks to the author's decades of hands-on experience. I appreciate your honesty about the book's editing issues and how, despite the minor errors, the clarity of the content still shines through. The practical advice on tools and pricing seems useful, especially for someone who might be new to this field. Your note on the lack of alternatives to latex gloves is particularly insightful, as it highlights a health consideration that could easily be overlooked. It’s great that this book could serve both professionals and DIY enthusiasts alike. Your mention of how your son could benefit from this guide, given your house's history, adds a personal touch that makes this review even more relatable.

Your review is what I must commend first because it was easy and fun to read giving the necessary detail one needs to know about the book. I don't see myself going into the stone and marble restoration business but one can never tell when these skills will be useful so I might consider reading this book just to have the skill. Congratulations on BOTD!!

The book details the author's journey in construction, specifically the skill of tile installation. He took up the line of work after losing his factory job in 1979. Readers will get first-hand business experience from a veteran in the field. The book will appeal to those who want to venture into the construction business.
