All lives matter, in my opinion, no matter race, color or nationality, and I consider it horrible what people have to endure to fight for their rights and freedom. It would be interesting to follow the progress as the author leads readers though the book, so congrats with BOTD!

This book, 'Say My Name: Thoughts Of One Black Woman' by Vickey Robinson is about the author's views on Black lives in America. Starting with Abraham Lincoln to present time life for the Black American has been a struggle. For those who have made something of themselves, they are always made to stay a head or else they believe they will be pushed down again. Your explanative review gives a person who has picked up this book much more to go on as well as letting young adults know this is a read for them as well. Thank you for your detailed review.

I thank all the people back then who fought for their rights and equality because these days I see respect between blacks and whites. Thank you for your review, I once read about Black people's history but I'm reading this one too.

Vickey Robinson's book is a fascinating and powerful look at the experiences of Black Americans throughout history. The way she connects historical events to modern issues is thought-provoking

There have been many forms of discrimination in America throughout history. I admire the author's courage and writing skills to skillfully deliver her thoughts about racism in this comprehensible manner. Thanks for this excellent review!

History from the point of view of people who have suffered discrimination, in one way or another, are always really interesting, because both sides of the coin must always be considered. Thanks for the recommendation.

From a sampling, this appears to be a book focusing on the issue and history of racial discrimination. While it might not be for everyone, some might want to give it a look.

Thank you for another great review. Our history is so complex with how we started out and where we are now. I'm curious to know what she had written about each of the presidents. It seems she did well to get so much in a short book. I am going to add this to my list of books to read. I liked how it was written in the sample I read.

I hope my question will be answered after reading this novel since all five fingers are not the same. Now generations have a lot to learn from histories globally.
