I've always been a big believer in ESP, and I'm very excited to read this book. I can imagine how it would appear to be a textbook on the topic, so thanks for pointing that out.

This seems like a complex topic but still interesting. I am eager to know about precognition. Thanks for the detailed review!

I'm one who enjoys learning about the human brain and how it works. I believe in clairvoyants because if people can have feelings of things they have already done or witnessed (deja vu), then I believe there are people who can see in the future. I cannot wait to get this book and go over the authors findings.

Thanks for this great review. A book full of research on perception, intuition and telepathy sounds so exciting to read. And the author dedicated the last twenty five years of his life to research about this, and that is truly something great. Precognition is something I only believed to be true but the fact that humans dream about the future events is pretty unbelievable?
And quantum physics used to explain psychic phenomena is something I've never come across.

This book sounds like a great way to increase your knowledge on the topics you've never heard of. Will definitely read this.
Congratulations to the author on BOTD.

“Contact with the Future” by Jon Taylor is a nonfiction book that takes an in-depth look at extrasensory perception (ESP). The research has been conducted for the last 25 years of Jon Taylor’s life after he graduated from the University of Cambridge. The book includes his findings on precognition, intuition and telepathy. Precognition is important since it means the human brain takes in information about future events. Included are cases where people dream about future events or have feelings that something is going to happen. Taylor was able to use case studies and research to support his theories. He questioned people that dreamed something would happen and when it did, he wanted to discuss the details from the dreams. I have learned a lot from the sample like ESP explains the faculty of intuition. The theories and research findings are incredible. I have always been interested in ESP so this book is a must read for me.

Thank you for your great review. I'm glad that you liked it and it's awesome how well it was edited. Though ESP is an interesting theory and the author did do a tremendous amount of research, I prefer lighter reading than this. I hope many others will find it interesting and will give it a chance.

Definitely not my cup of tea, mostly because I am unfamiliar with the term "extrasensory perception" and, unfortunately, not interested in the subject. Even after reading quite a detailed review to gain some understanding, didn't change my mind. Sorry and congratulations with BOTD!

Non-fiction book about ESP, precognition and intuition with just a touch of quantum physics thrown in? What is not to love about “Contact with the Future" by Jon Taylor? He has written a college-level textbook type book with tons of research, case studies and explanations of all of the contents. There are many people interested in these topics and if this book gives the explanations that the reviewer stated it does this book could be quite the treasure trove.

Hmm, what an insightful book this book will turn out to be if I need it because I have no idea what ESP means. I'll love to know what it means which is why I'll add it to my book shelf.

The idea about precognition and emotional sensory seems kind of exciting. To be honest I always wonder the facts or mystery of our universe. And this book seems to provide insight on that part. I'm totally gonna give it a go. Amazing review to meet reader's expectations and high hope.
