The book sounds interesting. Victoria had a very difficult and tough life. Besides the author included a lot of information about the Pakistan's culture and religion which will definitely be interesting to read about. But memoirs are not my cup of tea so I'll pass. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

'Official Review: The Despicable Missionary' by Annie Bradley and Julie Dass well describes the story of religious tension between Muslims and Christians for readers from every sphere of life! It is an in-depth analysis of the story of a young woman's struggle for readers! The point that the book is based on a true story is worth mentioning in the review! Also, the point that the book describes different aspects of life in Pakistan, as mentioned in the review, is remarkable for readers! Nice to learn that the story is a fascinating and enjoyable read!

Thank you for your review. I really liked the sample I have read so far. It must have been hard on her parents to love their daughter and want her to be herself, but yet, all of their lives and livelihood was affected by Victoria's actions. I am going to add this to my list of books to read. It did surprise me about the arranged marriages when the Chistians were children.

Children can be so harsh towards each other. I’m impressed that she stood up to tell her story of what she went through. Sounds like an inspiring book for sure!

I was sold after reading the blurb, but your review sheds even more light on Victoria’s story. It’s interesting that hatred and ignorance manifest the same way, no matter the reason for the division. Thank you for your excellent review.

I'm amazed at how Victoria survived being singled out in a group just because she has a different religion. I love reading real stories, and this one is very informative about the culture in Pakistan. It's disheartening to know about their treatment of women. Congratulations on the BOTD.

I haven't read many books on Pakistani culture so I find this book interesting. Religious differences have been a cause of tension and hatred among people forever it seems.

This sounds like an intriguing novel on the effects of religious tensions and discrimination on a young girl. I can understand Victoria's troubles on becoming a bully herself because forgiveness is really easier said than done. I'll like to read this book to find out how she curtailed the troublemakers and maybe found peace. Thanks for your detailed review.

I love learning about other cultures and experiences. The fact that this is a true story of a young woman who seems to have many similarities to my struggle with religion, bullying and growth makes me even more eager to open up the pages to this book! Thank you for your great review!

Violence against humanity is sometimes encouraged by religious intolerance. Victoria case is one of many such case. I like her determination and resilience. But what can the world do to stop violence perpetrated in the name of religion? I'll love to read this book. Thanks for the review.

I like to read about Muslim beliefs and way of life because I have a Muslim brother-in-law. His family lives overseas and getting to know him has made me aware of how different their culture is. This sounds like an interesting and educational read. Very informative review.

It was a war for Victoria to mingle with other Muslim children because of her Christian belief. Such a detailed review.

I think the idea of writing about a Christian girl growing up in Pakistan is very interesting. I'll be sure to give this a read. Thanks for the review!

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting biographical account of young girl who grew up in Pakistan and the hardships and challenges she had to face in order to survive the less than peaceful times while holding true to her faith. It might be worth a second look. Well done.
