The storyline is interesting. Things don't always work out the way we planned. It's unfortunate that such fate befell the Ortiz family. I hope it all ends well. Congratulations on BOTD.

I was intrigued by your review . Definitely will read the book "Beyond the Clouds the Sky is Blue", as I love a book based on the real life events and admire if prototypes are based on authors friends or family. Also want to add that your review is interesting and detailed, but without any spoilers, great job!

Your review is well-written. I can feel the suspense just by perusing through the review. What could have led to the scattering of the family and was Mary successful in her quest? Congratulations on BOTD.

I was impressed by the way the author not only introduced the concept of family but also went into great detail to demonstrate the bond and love that a family has for one another. I'm also happy that this family was able to come together despite the fact that it was inevitable for them to split up.

This book has a beautiful and emotional story and the theme of forgiveness makes it more acceptable. Mary's life struggles are heart wrenching but her ability to forgive is commendable. Thanks for the review!

The issue on how foster parents treat their foster children should really be looked into. Amazing review.

The theme of forgiveness is what I appreciated most in this book.
But , I did not like the move Gregory had to make towards his children.
Its a nice book

We always feel that the grassis greener on the other side. Well, isn't always the case, as the Ortiz family gets to find out. However, I hope things w work out for the children since they opposed the idea in the first place.

From the ups and downs the Ortiz family went through in their quest, I believe this would be an engaging yet humbling storyline. Thanks for the review!

Wow...it sounds like a movie to me. Obviously, things will get better for Maria. Leaving a place one has called a home to another place is a difficult choice but also a choice that could change one's mindset. Congratulations on winning BOTD.

Quite an interesting book, I must say. To be able to unify one's family after a long time requires not just endurance and love, but also persistence. I would add this book to my shelf. Thanks for the review.

A book telling the story about a family. There tragedy and how they were able to survive. It is quite a sad story about the author’s mother and her family. I’m not interested in reading this book. However, good one from the author. Congratulations on being the book of the day! Nice review.

Mary's goal is to unify her family. I think married women should copy her character because she does what a mother should do to save the family. Congrats on BOTD!

Beyond the Clouds, the Sky is Blue by Dennis Santos is a story about the life and growth of a young girl, Mary after their Dad, Gregory made some decisions that affected their lives. I like the storyline and wish to congratulate the author on being the #BOTD!
