An autobiography full of interesting twists. It is good that the author shows each point that led him to make his decisions and his own reflections, to have a new perspective on life. Good job #BOTD

Wow. Steve's story could be turned into a movie. There are a lot of positive aspects to the book. he tells the readers that for every wrongdoing, there is always a repercussion. This autobiography is well-written and emotionally impactful. But his journey isn't the subject of my interest so I prefer to pass it. Thank you for the detailed and comprehensive review.

“In DeLorean’s Shadow: The Drug Trial of the Century” by Stephen Lee Arrington is an autobiography by the sole surviving defendant that includes Arrington’s life from early life to post incarceration. Stephen got involved in the drug smuggling business by flying to Columbia, loading his plane with the promise of making $50,000, flying to Los Angeles and learning that Morgan the smuggler could not pay him. The next day he was arrested. This is a very interesting book that covers Stephen’s childhood, love life, marriage and children and his life as a motivational and drug speaker. When I was in High School, my class had a former heroin addict speak to us about his life, his addiction and the way he kicked the habit and became a motivational speaker to save young people from experimenting with heroine and other drugs. Stephen admitted his crime and accepted his punishment. He also turned to God, prayed for forgiveness in his prison cell and asked God to watch over him while he was in prison and he accepted God for life. In the last chapter he asks readers to accept Christ into their lives. I have added this book to my to-read shelf because I want to learn how Stephen became a motivational speaker after committing a felony and going to prison.

Thank you for your informational review. I am glad that you enjoyed the book. For some reason, I don't remember this court case. I am glad that the author took responsibility and found God while in prison. I'm sure many others will enjoy this book, but I don't believe it is one for me so I'll pass.

Great review! It was very detailed and thorough. "In DeLorean's Shadow" is about the trial, the crime, and the corruption that went on a few years ago. The author was one of the defendants and was pardoned by President Obama. I can remember all of what went on back then, and it was a shock to the nation.

I am fascinated by the author's childhood, family, work, marriage, and achievements as a motivational and drug speaker. I am intrigued by Steve's job as a smuggler of drugs from Colombia. I am interested in learning if Steve would be able to leave the smuggling business and start a new life.

"In DeLorean's Shadow" by Stephen Lee Arrington is a non-fiction autobiography of the author's life, which includes his incarceration, his love life, childhood, family, marriage, work and achievements. The author has beautifully crafted the lessons from his life through his story as he navigates through with the price he paid for his mistakes. Despite a religious touch, this book is suitable for anyone and everyone who likes autobiographies. This is a very honest and informative review. Thank you so much. I loved the way you mentioned the shortcomings of the book, and mentioning the religious aspect was the cherry on the top.

Arrington writes his life story and takes you through all of the different stages of his life. He includes details about his family, drug smuggling, prison sentence, and how religion transformed his life. He also shares his inside information relating to the John DeLorean drug trial for readers who are interested in what happened behind the scenes of that historical case. Excellent book review! Well done!

It sounds like quite an inspiring book and since it's an autobiography it's definitely something I'll enjoy. I think a person can learn a lot form this and I really love the fact that Steve explains his religious journey as well. Thanks for a wonderful review. Congrats on BOTD.

It is very interesting that you have highlighted in your review very different aspects of the book from what the author (or perhaps the publisher) chose to highlight in its bookstore description. That seems to suggest a very multi-faceted book, which could prove a good or bad thing. It certainly seems like the author lived an interesting and complicated life and has an important perspective to share.

Nice review. In "In DeLorean's Shadow" , Stephen Lee Arrington narrates his life experiences from incarceration to family life , love and work etc. The author used biblical quotes , depicting how Bible played major role in all events of his life. Overall, very inspiring book.
