Readers can glean the meaning of psychotherapy, how it can be practised, and much more from this excellent book. New practitioners are encouraged to read this book to gain insight into the topic. Thanks for the review.

Gateways to Psychotherapy is a book that helps you understand how to get to know a person, find the person's problem and find solutions for that person to help them solve their problems

I like the possibility of reading about the life of a therapist. The preparations for meeting with a client and the process of building the relationship between therapist and client are interesting prospects. Congrats on BOTD!

This book isn't a book of interest to me, but it's well-written and structured. I believe it is a terrific introduction to the field of psychotherapy, and I expect those interested in pursuing it as a career will find it highly beneficial.

This book seems geared towards psychotherapists, as it offers advice on how to be a good psychotherapist and achieve a promising career. In addition, examples of documents, paintings, and approaches that the author uses when dealing with clients are provided.

Definitely not my cup of tea, because I don't believe in Psychotherapy and that it is possible, though "practical and structured approach to talk therapy" solve any problems. Not sure how reading about it can help any more than conversation with a total stranger, who patient meant to trust right away.

Reading novels in the same genre never gets old to me, especially when they are well-researched. Reading your insightful and skillfully written critiques is always a pleasure. I appreciate the author.

This can be very helpful. I don't study psychology but I'm interested in reading about those techniques.

I like books that deals with the behavior and innermost thoughts of the mind and this one seems to be right up my alley. I’m looking forward to digging into this book to be informed and enlightened by Hegarty’s psychotherapy topic.

I'm glad the author provided beneficial information to individuals that delve into therapy as a career. It might also help to prepare one for therapy by clearing all the misconception.
