I believe that life is not always black and white, so I wonder how the positive and negative perspectives interpret things I consider neutral. I like that the author presented the opposite sides of his story, and it helps readers learn more about how someone's outlook in life affects the overall quality of living life to the fullest. Congratulations on the BOTD.

It is the way he choose to look at life that determines what we get out of it. I'm a fan of memoirs and like the fact that he shared both the negative and positive aspects of his life. Congrats on BOTD!!

I appreciate how the author has engraved a narrative of his life from both positive and negative experiences she encountered in life. Congrats on the BOTD.

In Sunshine Among the Clouds by Dan "Axe" DeKruif, the author's description of his life's perspective on the aspects of life seem inspirational, and I would love to read about one's perception of life.

A book on different aspects of life is something that is most essential for the generation of today. Sunshine among the clouds the title itself gives a positive vibrancy and tries to give hope to the readers.

Thank you for your wonderful review. I am so glad you explained that he told his life first in a negative perspective, then in a positive perspective. When I was reading the sample it felt like he was just going down a list of things that had occurred. Now I understand the purpose of the book much better. What an interesting idea to show how our perspective can make a difference in how we feel about our life. After reading your review I decided to add it to my list of books to read. I'm glad you enjoyed it so much.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting memoir written broken up into two separate lens, one negative and one positive, to show a sort of silver lining in the negative aspects of the author’s life. It might be worth a second look. Well done.

I appreciate how you've highlighted the author's vulnerability and bravery in sharing both the happy and dark moments of his life. This level of authenticity is rare in memoirs, and it's refreshing to see.

The author felt unloved by his family and experienced hardships growing up. It seems that the book is filled with emotions about the author and I like it. I am attached to his emotional writing skills as well. Congratulations to the author on BOTD!

This autobiography, written twice from two different angles, or lenses, is a new self help and awareness approach. Congrats to the author and the reviewer for bringing this book forward. I'm anxious to finish it and see what I can glean from his experiences that will help me.

I read the first chapter and thought, "Wow this is so negative, I don't think I can continue," but now you've told me it's divided into two aspects I'm very keen to see how the author handles it. Thank you for the great review, you've convinced me to read on.
