"The Wandering Mathematician" by Shmuel Kantorovitz is an inspiring autobiography tracing the author's family's migration from Jerusalem to Morocco and his own journey into the world of mathematics. The book highlights the importance of education, family, and cultural heritage, particularly showcasing the influence of the author's remarkable mother.

The Wandering Mathematician is an autobiography of Shmuel Kantorovitz's life in Jerusalem, France, and Morocco. The names of the people in the sample were hard to read. I am not a fan of autobiographies so I'll skip this one. Thanks for the review. Congrats on the BOTD!

Some traits really do run through a family, such as teaching in the case of this family. I believe a strong family bond is important and goes a long way to shape the lives of the family members. I'm happy to see this book portrays that.
