Joanne's story is one of perseverance. Tragedy struck but she held her head high. It's an inspiring testament on the will of a survivor. Congrats on BOTD!

People accept life's challenges in different ways. Sometimes it helps to have at least one other person in your corner like Joanne did. Her memoir, *By Accident* by Joanne Greene, tells of at lease a couple of challenges that she faced and overcame for the most part. Since the story is not quite over yet -- there may be more of her story to come!
She had at least her husband helping her through her struggles and that seems to be worth its weight in gold. I look forward to reading this book.

We are all faced with different challenges of life and Joanne stories really came out handy on how we can cope when faced with life difficulties. Would definitely grab a hold of this book to know how she tends to face her own challenges. Great Review

While I am not a fan of most memoirs, the BOTD features a good theme with dealing with setbacks. How we deal with adversity defines who we are and will become.

I can't imagine the strong will Joanne had to overcome such a horrible accident and then survive the gruesome journey of recovering from cancer. They obviously weren't even the only terrible experiences she faced in her life with the deaths of both of her siblings. I admire her courage in sharing her experience through this memoir with the world. Congratulations on BOTD!
