“B-17s Over Berlin: Personal Stories of Courage, Honor, Victory” by Ian Hawkins includes numerous stories of WWII veterans of the 95th Bombardment Group. These veterans are heroes that should be remembered in U.S. history and passed on to generation after generation because they should never be forgotten. Photographs, battle plans, and insider information on the positive and negative experiences of war really authenticate their incredible accomplishments. Very few WWII veterans are still alive, and their heroism has been forgotten by many Americans. We need to find ways to keep their memories alive.
