I can't imagine the struggles the author (and others) face with Neurogenic Bladder and Bowel Disorder. I'm sure it affects many women, and it's nice to see that there is an engaging book that speaks about this topic and how to cope with it. It's great to hear the author suggests to not isolate yourself if you have this disorder, and to not reject negative signs that your body may show. I feel these are important points to make. Also, I like that there are humorous moments here, the formatting worked well, and the book seems to be inspirational. Not sure if this is for me right now, but I'm glad that you enjoyed the book! Thank you for sharing!

this book sounds great, maybe not something I would want to read, but I know a few people I could recommend it to based on description and would be happy to do so.

Non fiction is not my cup of tea, but the topic of this book is very serious. A lot of people tend to bottle their problems up having no people to confide in or simply not trusting enough to talk to. I believe this book will show that any problem should be dealt with and not concealed. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

I hate how it's become so inappropriate to talk about your body and health these days. I'm glad that this book is there so that people who need help for this can get it. Seems like an interesting book.

Thank you for your review! I am glad you laid out the steps that the author offers to address Nuerogenic Bladder Disorder. From the blurb on Amazon I thought the book was more of a memoir. I feel like knowing a little more about the book makes me more likely to read it!

Thank you for writing about this book, and subject, with sensitivity. It's not a book that interests me personally, but will be useful to others.

Thanks for informative review, jeminah28. We never know what’s ahead for our bodies so I’ll add this to my “to be read” list. Having a friend who seriously suffers from this, I hope it will take my understanding to a deeper level. I’ll also be sharing the book with her. Thanks again!

Thank you for the great review! I like books where the author addresses topics that are usually considered taboo by some. As we age, our health routines change. I hope this book will serve as a resource to those embarrassed to discuss issues with their friends and family.
Any book that helps a child to form a habit of reading, to make reading one of his deep and continuing needs, is good for him.

It's great to see a book that talks about such unpleasant topics.

It's so refreshing to see someone speak up about their body and health issues especially when it comes to a topic most people feel uncomfortable talking about. I hope this book reaches the people who will find it useful and helps them out.

Not really a fan of non-fiction and the health topics explored in this book don't relate to me, so I'll pass on reading it. But I'm glad you liked it enough to give it 4 stars and I'm sure other people who suffer from bowel and bladder problems will find this book helpful.

So many people suffer from this kind of disorder, but they can feel so very alone. These kinds of books help them to realize they are not alone, and that if you can find the humor in any given situation, it will help to make it easier to deal with. Thanks for the review.

I have several chronic illnesses so I can relate. I am not sure if I want to read this though. The advice might be helpful but I am more interested in works of fiction. This is a maybe for me.
