I think the review of We live in Social Space is very impressive. The themes around man's inhumanity to his fellow man which have been raised by Fred Emil Katz in this book appeal to me, greatly.
"Sometimes I find myself sitting in one spot for hours, staring at nothing, feeling nothing, and most disturbingly, caring about nothing".

We live in social space. This is a great show of philosophy and sociology of life. Reading this book with deep contemplation of life will leave you with a sense of satisfaction to many life questions that seems to be without answers. As Katz compared our existence in the womb and after birth, we are indeed not nearly aware of our environment, our space, as we think we are. Makes me wonder about the philosophy of birth and death.

This sounds like a book I would like to read so I could see someone's life through such terrible events and their preceptive on why and how it was able to happen, what a great review.

Does he mention the easiest way to stop war? All humanity needs to do is stop volunteering to be soldiers! With no soldiers, there is no war!

eg: Hitler invades Austria with 10m soldiers. Lots of death.

Hitler invades Austria alone, a couple of bouts of fisty cuffs, and he goes home.
Whether you Think you can,
or you Think you can't,
You are Right

I love the subject matter of this book. The final question in your review is what I ask myself every day. This sounds like an amazing philosophical read and your review makes it sound even more so. Thanks for your insight!

I think I've changed my mind about this one. It sounds a little more technical than I had anticipated. Still good, though, just not my interest.

Thanks for the review. Cultural shifts happen all the time and it is good that people are able to write them down to remind people of a different time before the current cultural shift happened. I am glad to see that you gave this 4 stars.

After reading it, I find it somberly. I ask myself why should people indulge in hating others leading to destroying others’ lives. The book also depicts the different phases of our life. These differents phases shows how people react in different situations. Yes it is somberly but this book open views to the reality of what really life is.

I read the sample and the book sounded like an interesting perspective on things. Your review expands on that. It sounds as if you have a solid understanding of what Katz is presenting.
