They Love You Until You Start Thinking for Yourself seems like an inspiring memoir that addresses the courage it takes to carve your own path, regardless of societal or cultural expectations. Monica Omorodion Swaida’s journey from immigrant to entrepreneur sounds empowering, especially for those interested in personal growth and challenging norms. It looks like a thought-provoking read on resilience and self-belief!

It's a great review that gives you an appetite to read the book.I aso loved the book mostly on how Monica leaves her home Nigeria without her parents and siblings knowledge leaving behind everything she knows and moves to Poland I guess in search of a better life. I like how she shows resilience and determination that drives her to be a successful entrepreneurship from just a migrant. It's a great book that gives an encouragement to anyone that they can be successful even as a migrant as long as they're determined

'The book presents a compelling story of personal growth, resilience, entrepreneurship, family, and triumph against all odds.'
I'll like to know how this compelling story with such themes coincide with it's title.

Monica Omorodion Swaida has written an amazing book, and as someone from Nigeria, I resonated with it deeply, especially from the sample. I would love to learn about her adventures in Poland, how she was able to persevere, and the many positives to take away from her development trajectory. Huge congrats on being Book of the Day! This is a wonderful review too—great job!

Monica had a carefree and happy childhood. In her late teens, she decided to go to Poland from Nigeria to achieve her dreams. She is determined to chase her dreams irrespective of the obstacles on her way. Will she achieve her dreams? Resilience, family bonds, inclusivity, and growth are important factors in her story.

I really enjoyed the sample, reading about Monica's large, wonderful Nigerian family--four sisters and four brothers alternating between girl and boy, all about two years apart except the youngest brother Junior who waited 5 years to make his appearance. Monica, the third child, loved spending time with her father who worked as a forensic investigator and her mother a successful entrepreneur in her own right. So, it was a real surprise when Monica at the age of 17, hops on an airplane to Poland without telling anyone and sets off on her own life's adventure. She's ok though, no need to worry, as we start to find out just how tough and resilient she is. Thanks for a great review. This should be a very interesting book.
