I believe that this forum has featured this author before in other books of the day. I like that when authors chose to delve into the realm of Christian based books they use a combination of things to make it more palatable for most readers. I like that the author chose anecdotes, an introduction and meanings behind certain words to create an all encompassing book.

I have experienced God's overwhelming love in many ways. I believe in His salvific plan through Jesus and look forward to the promised eternal glory. I wish for all the world to experience God's love, too, and to hope in a perfect heaven. I'm happy to hear that this book gripped you so much you couldn't put it down. The sample I read didn't have the same effect on me. But I did find the author meticulous in backing his points with biblical passages and even scientific proof. I pray he brings many to know God better.

As I Christian, I feel that I need to read this book. Understanding God and the actions He has done for humanity, including sending Jesus to redeem us through His death, is part of the questions I usually ask myself. As well as finding out about His perfect will. It definitely sounds like a good read.

Ruffing delving into knowledge of the Word in his book to share it with those readers that is seeking answers. The reviewer reveals that questions answered according to what is being asked, along with scripture references to show the credibility of the author. I am too excited about this book knowing it will give some insight on what the Word reveals moreover hearing it from the author's point of view will level out what the readers may already know about God.

This one definitely isn't for me, but I really like that the book is set out well and appears professionally edited. Those with an interest in the subject will appreciate the effort the author has taken to make the book so well presented. Thank you for a lovely review :)

A book based on the existence of God and answers to certain confusing questions on the subject matter sounds intriguing. I'd like to read and know the author's perspective on this.

I've been taught to believe in God since I was a kid because I'm Muslim. Until today I still believe in Him. To be honest, this book may not be suitable for me because of the difference but I would like to know what other religions perspective on God. Beside, I'm open minded people. By the way, thank you for a nice review on this book.

Finely a rating that is potential appropriate. There are so many ratings that give a perfect score when the text isn’t perfect. I don’t however like how the reviewer doesn’t say where the author got their information.

Interesting to know that this book might be a place for answers to whether there is a God, why He would send His Son to die for us, and other things like that. Nice to know that the author uses language that's easy to understand. Great review.

A Christian book that answers questions that so many people walk around with. My initial thought was that this book was going to be preachy and bland, but it sounds like the author does their best to engage the reader with anecdotes as well as other things. I personally do not enjoy Christian non-fiction, but I may read a few pages for myself. For sure I will pass this book on to those whom I know will enjoy this book.

You mentioned that you finished reading the book before you even noticed that you were nearing the end. That sounds like a very well written book. Congrats to the author on the 4/4 rating.

I enjoy that the author uses language for non-biblical scholars, so more people can enjoy the book. The word origins sound fun, too.

In the book For the Love of God, the writer William K. Ruffing rose some questions which normal people scare to ask. I really appreciate his emotion. I think, its time to about the answers. We all love God and respect him, but these questions have to be answered.

I don't get the thing that you wrote about god sending his son to die for us. If god really has so many powers why can't he save everyone why would he let his son die for us. But you mentioned about the author clearing the meanings of many words used in bible. I've never read bible and was giving a thought about reading bible a few days back. Maybe now this book can be helpful for me to be clear about some meanings. I'm a little bit thoughtful about why you're so impressed by the book. I don't believe in god. I hold entirely different viewpoint about all these god related matters, this book can make me clear if I'm wrong somewhere. Thanks for your review.
