One of the book's standout features is its accessible writing style. Despite tackling complex theological concepts, Servus presents his arguments in a manner that is both engaging and understandable to a broad audience. The avoidance of technical jargon and the clear articulation of fundamental assumptions make this work approachable, even for those without a deep religious background. As noted in a review by AkashTyagi, "Despite the complexity of the issue, Indignus Servus delivers the points in an understandable manner for a wide audience."
The book is structured into two main parts: "Redefining an Ancient Problem" and "Creation, Fall, and Timeless Being." This organization allows readers to follow the progression of ideas systematically. Servus examines the prerequisites of love—such as faith, free will, and selflessness—and discusses how these elements may necessitate the existence of evil and suffering to foster a timeless, loving relationship with God. Cynthia Pence highlights this aspect, stating that the book "explains the timeless concepts of human existence."
The author's engagement with biblical texts, particularly teachings attributed to Jesus Christ, enriches the theological discourse and underscores the interconnectedness of theological concepts with religious traditions. This approach encourages readers to contemplate theological inquiries within a scriptural context. Nwansimdi Mercy Someze points out that the book "explores the tension between the attributes of God and the existence of suffering, as articulated by Epicurus and subsequent thinkers."
In terms of presentation, the book is well-edited, with reviewers noting minimal to no grammatical errors. The concise chapters and logical flow contribute to a seamless reading experience. However, some readers may find the rational approach to the problem of evil lacking in addressing the emotional and pastoral needs of those who are suffering. Additionally, while the book provides a fresh perspective on the problem of evil, it may not fully satisfy readers seeking traditional theological explanations.
In conclusion, "The Advent of Time" offers a compelling and accessible examination of the problem of evil from a Christian perspective. Its logical reasoning and clear writing make it a valuable read for those interested in theology, philosophy, or anyone grappling with questions about suffering and divine love. As AkashTyagi aptly summarizes, "'The Advent of Time' by Indignus Servus is an ambitious and thought-provoking essay that addresses the eternal theological problem of evil."

The author has provided in-text references for his arguments, drawing from various philosophical, scientific and even religious texts, especially the Bible. This authenticates his arguments and gives other authors a sense of engagement with their works. For instance, I’m curious about Dr. Robert Sapolsky’s response to Indignus’ critique of his work, Determined: A Science of Life Without Free Will.
