There just can't be enough books about how to treat workers better. I'm always happy to see this topic addressed frequently and hope managers are truly learning that kindness is an important business tenet. Thanks for the review.

This book sounds phenomenal. People rarely leave a good job unless they have a poor manager. This book would be a great guide for employers and employees, alike!

I think everyone in a leadership position needs to read this book! I have had really bad managers and really good managers, and they can completely change how you feel about your job and your performance at that job. If more people managed like this, people would be happier at their jobs

Someone once told me, “You don’t quit the job, you quit the boss.” How true that statement is.
I traveled all over the country for my job in the past and most of the managers with whom I worked could have benefited from this book.
Your review is comprehensive and informative. If all managers respected their employees as much as this book recommends, and followed its insights, retention rates would be at an all time high.
Thanks for the review.

The author's model covers the important areas of human resources management. The wisdom of experience shows through with the well thought out strategies that go from recruiting to safety and security. I loved your review and the clear and concise presentation of the major points.

Your review was very through and had good constructive criticisms. I think that this would be a great book for people thinking about starting small businesses or current business owners. I also think that business undergraduate and graduate students would benefit from this book as well. I like that there were only a few grammatical errors and the author weaved in personal stories without losing focus.

This sounds like such an important book. I like the themes of respect, including topics of diversity. I know quite a few managers who would benefit from a book like this. However, I am personally not a fan of business books.
