The truth that you look for is within you. I got that from the sample. I presume the author has many other gems like that inside the book's pages. It is interesting to know that the author chose the pen name Caarna, having been a light-bearer since she was six. Definitely an early starter!

Thanks for the enlightening review.

Thanks for the review... There's a lot to learn from this book especially about spirituality and the journey to find it.

Sounds to me like your regular self-help, improve yourself kinda book. In my opinion all people are different and there is no receipt for everyone. Not my cup of tea at all, will have to pass it.

This seems a little preachy to me. I don't really like books like this, even though I am a very spiritual person. It looks like the author was trying to do too much when it came to the subject.

Thank you for a well-written review! I have no interest in this type of spirituality or New Age practices and find some of what the author believes to be counter-productive. I love the notes you made regarding the lack of congruency, and feel I would have noticed that as well. The author certainly sounds like a unique individual, but this type of healing feels creepy to me.

i've read "A New Earth" of Eckhart Tolle which actually started my love with the genre. having read the sample of "Living in the Space of Light", i think i'd love to see the rest and find out more of what indeed could be the secret to health and happiness. great review!

Caarna

The book living in the spirit of light is from the spirit. Caarna is filled with the Holy spirit and wrote this book as directed by Him.

I was trigal by the name Caarna of which I found that the name was her spiritual name which mean the Lady of light. Her name remind me of this scripture; John 1:4-5 (KJV)  In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
Caarna was given to Rene Geldenhuys by the Holy spirit because as Jesus is so are we in this world.
Glory to God!

Rene Geldenhuys is a woman of integrity
Her passion for healing people and teaching people how to heal is outstanding. Caarna in her teaching enlightened me that we are the absolute creators of everything in our lives, the good and the bad.
I know alot of people hold God responsible for their failure, sickness and misfortune in life. That is not true because the scriptures enlightened us in the book of Deuteronomy 30:19 (KJV)  I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live. As we can see even though the option were there, He (GOD) guided us "therefore choose life" so we are responsible for everything that goes right and wrong in our life for we have been properly guided by Him (GOD).

Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV)  For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. We can see that we have power to change our world for God plan for us is to have good success. Thank you Rene Geldenhuys for your enlightenment.

I love true life story and am gonna recommended this for my Christian brothers and sisters.

Thanks for the review.

New Age spirituality seems a tad dangerous and a potential opening in people’s lives for demonic entrance. This is especially true if it’s not well-taught or understood. I have been trying to understand these concepts and why they are or are not in congruence with what I’m learning currently.

Thank you for your interesting review. I am not an avid reader of non-fiction novels, and books about religion or spirituality don't appeal to me either. I appreciate this author sharing her journey and what she has experienced with readers though. I have to admit that I find the inconsistencies with her statements - to accept what happens to us as God's will only for her to turn around and say that she was able to influence things around her to the way she wanted them, to be off-putting. If an author believes one thing then I want them to stick to it and not flip flop when it suits them. I think that those who choose to read this book about healing, and inner light will enjoy it but I don't think that this will be a good fit for me.

I am not spiritual and don't generally like self-help books, but the comment about being grateful for negative experience did resonate with me - learning from bad situations can definitely lead to peace, though in my experience not without some pain. Thank you for your very detailed review.

Thank you for the in-depth review. I like the concept, flowing content and the fact that the book isn't based on any organized religion, or the Bible.

I’m not a big fan of books like this. It’s not healthy to put out the message that disabled people can just push through and do anything. We need people to understand differences and make accommodations that allow for more equality. I also dislike the idea of positive thinking/spirituality being able to change thinks like the weather or an illness. Thanks for your review.
