I have enjoyed Chicken Soup for the Soul many years ago and am glad for a more recent book to cheer me up. I don't like confusing typos, etc., but am forewarned and can over look them.

This seemed like a good book when I first downloaded it. Unfortunately I’m not very interested in it after sampling it a little. I don’t think I could handle another book with many grammatical errors but still it could be helpful to others.

Seems like it can be a nice light read, with some light humor. I am just not interested in reading this one. Congrats on BOTD.

This looks like a really "cozy" and helpful book. I think it hides kind words that I'd love to read. It's unfortunate that there were so many errors but I'm sure with a good editing this book will be professional.

What a fun collection that the author has chosen to share. I like that it's comparable to a Chicken Soup for the Soul book. For all the wisdom the book contains, it's hard to take away everything the author intends when the editing is so poorly done. I do like your opening remarks about being tired of "adulting." That's pretty much my motto. Thanks for another great review!

That sounds awesome! And for that many pages, I think it's really smart to put your wisdom in a clear and concise package. Thanks for reviewing this!

I used to read the Chicken Soup for the Soul books as a kid, so I would probably enjoy this book. However, I do not like reading books that have not been professionally edited. Thanks for the review!

This sounds to be a good soul filling book. Something that one would want to pick up and read when they are experiencing having just one of those days. I believe that is is a good thing for people to share there downs and what it is that brings them back up or keeps them going when all else may seem to be in shambles.

I enjoy the Chicken Soup for the Soul books, so this might be an interesting read. However, I an easily distracted and irritated by editing errors, so might not be the book for me. Thanks for the informative review.

Due to the number of grammatical errors in today's BOTD, I'm happy that we were able to pick it up for free. I hope the author is able to have it edited, so more people are able to enjoy his words.

I love reading books like this because I'm always able to find at least one story in the collection to share with my high school students at the opening or closing of a lesson. Hopefully, the same happens here! Thank you for your insightful review - I'm looking forward to hearing more in the future! :-)

Something Happened Today by Paul E. Kotz is a collection of stories that may enable the readers to see things in positive perspectives and become a better version of themselves.

I'm sorry to hear about the errors. I could not decide whether I will read the entire contents or not. Maybe if the first ten pages could persuade me to read on, I will. Thanks for the honest review.

This is an aptly captured review and nicely done! This looks like a book written by someone who wants to share his life experiences in order to allow readers learn/understand from said experiences and to avoid sub-par behaviours/decisions. This looks good enough; I am in.

Seems like a lovely book. Sometimes we need to be reminded to look at the bright side of things. I like the point you make about the convenience of them being very short stories because oftentimes we don't have large chunks of time to read. I also really liked that you shared with us your favorite story. Your review is personal and analytical, thank you.
It's a shame that it has so many mistakes but, hopefully, with a second run of editing, it'll be great.

Thank you for the honest review. While I too struggle with books overloaded with errors, I’m also a sucker for books that incite hope. I think the world could always use more of it and I like to keep books like this around me. Adding to my list!

This book looks like an inspirational delight. I'm sad that it took a serious situation to realize that life is precious, but this upbeat book looks helpful.
