While I can identify with your sentiment that I wouldn't pick this book up if I saw it in a store, I can see how this information is valuable. Hopefully when I start reading it I will find it as interesting as you did. Thanks for a great review.

The author's passion towards enlightening people about the health care system in USA is commendable. Understanding the healthcare system can come in quite handy as it can get tricky sometimes. Good review.

This book is more suited for the US citizens. We have free healthcare here in Europe. But, I appreciate the author's story about having melanoma and her fight with it. Very educational book!

This is an amazing review. This isn't exactly the kind of book that I'd pick up and read for pleasure but I think this review has convinced me to try reading it, I think the information contained in this book will be value to a lot of people. I also hope to learn as much as you did from it.

'Official Review: Surviving the Business of Healthcare' by Barbara Galutia Regis PA-C is a good guide for readers on cancer! The point that the author's firsthand experiences as a family practitioner and cancer patient, coupled with the anecdotes from the past, qualify her to provide readers with all-encompassing insight is worth mentioning in the review! Also, the point that the book provides information that empowers us to make better healthcare decisions for ourselves and our family is remarkable for me! I like the advice offered for potential readers in the review! Nice to learn that the book is a rare gem and is as enjoyable to read as it is informative!

I absolutely love that this doctor is promoting for autonomy and self-advocacy, things which many doctors still overlook in word and action despite them being actual requirements in our healthcare system. Indeed, doctors know the science and trends better, but each patient knows their body better, so healthcare must be a cooperative venture! I do find it odd that the drug she highlighted was cheaper on Amazon, as I typically find OTC drugs to be more expensive through them. Perhaps it's a difference in years. Thanks for your review!

This review is comprehensive and gives good examples. I appreciate thoroughness of defining an appropriate audience as this is not a book I would typically choose to read either.

This is a treasure trove that "provides information that will empower you to make better healthcare decisions for you and your family." Healthcare is an integral part of our lives and we can't take any information on navigating the business side for granted. Thank you for a concise review.

This sounds like quite an informative read—I’m surprised it is only 115 pages. I never thought to check Amazon to compare medication prices! Thank you for an excellent review.

I like the fact that this book is not only interesting, but also informative. The topic of health has really been taken lightly nowadays and this book helps us think more and make wise medical decisions. It also inspires cancer patients and all other patients with whichever medical conditions. The review is really great!
