I find the review intriguing. I find poetry quite boring but this review sparked my interest

This sounds like a must read for people who are not too familiar with poetry, which is exactly my case, too.

I studied poetry but wasn’t really in love with it, although I always got the message but reading it was always difficult and I hope this poetry book will help my enjoy poetry the next time I read another.

Though I love reading poetry, Making Sense of Poetry by Rex W Last isn't my cup of tea, but I will recommend it. Congratulations on the BOTD.

Sounds very useful and educational. I know that many struggle with intervened artistic wordings, so author's efforts to help readers navigate troubled waters are much appreciated. One downside, since it is "Study Skills volume 3" I wanted to check the rest books and couldn't find them.

In my youth I studied poetry and wrote a bit, but somehow I got lost in adulthood and parenthood. This book excites me to read, because it's not too overwhelming, has some humor in it, and focuses on all sorts of poetry, which I greatly appreciate. I am going to love this book! Thank you for the review

'Official Review: Making Sense of Poetry' by Rex W. Last serves as a solid background to a clear, practical, step-by-step guide book to studying poetry for avid readers! It describes the contents of the book in an organized way. It is enriching and informative. The point that the author includes exercises on poem interpretation for the reader and provides the solution to these exercises is worth mentioning in the review. Also, the point that the author adds humor to his explanations at regular intervals, as mentioned in the review, is remarkable for readers. It was great to learn that the book is very educative and reading it, widens our vocabulary!

Today's BOTD is for fans of poetry, as well as those interested in learning how to interpret poems. Well-structured and easy-to-follow, readers will be guided through a 12 step process of poem interpretation, which the author refers to as the 12 commandments. For me, the best part is that it comes with activities so you can put your new learnings to test! How cool is that?!! Thanks for your review...it was really helpful! :-)

A book like this could come in quite handy when writing poetry. I think it's important to understand what poetry is before writing good poetry. Your review made me interested in the possibility of reading this book.

Normally, I find poetry to be somewhat dull. However, I find it easier to understand when it has a beat: Rap/HIp Hop is technically poetry if you listen to the lyrics. Adding humor to the way the author delivers the message in the book will definitely help hold interest for me. Good review.
