Reads like an organizational behavior textbook. The sample doesn't give much content, but rather all the forewords, acknowledgements, and table of contents. I would have liked to read more of the actual content.

Though the review is informative and detailed, the book's plot is not my ideal cup of coffee. Thanks though for the review, and congratulations to the BOTD.

The concept that healthy corporations will have a strong focus on mission and will effectively communicate that mission to employees is a solid one and I'm interested in reading more about this in this book.

I don't like fiction much these days. But it still seems an important book for increasing productivity in the workplace.

The only issue I have with the “what can the employee do for the company” is how do you measure each individual's performance. What I found was happy face values being forced, fake smiles, and ending up being employee number 20468. Having my work valued matters more to me, and I dislike corporate politics of my door is open if it is not closed, but it is always closed. Good objective review with valuable insight.

In this period of great resignation, this book provides practical suggestions about "employee engagement," based on Gallup's surveys, and it could be an enlightening guidebook for the organizations. Thanks for a great review.

This book seems to be quite useful and interesting. It's the ideal type of book for entrepreneurs or business owners who are interested in improving problems or being prepared for them. The approach of focusing on "we" Instead of "me", and focusing on "organizational engagement" instead of "employee engagement". It's good to know that much of what the author says is substantiated. It's certainly a book I'm interested in reading. Thank you for this very informative review.

Focus on what the employee can do for the corporation. Organizations should focus on "we," not "me." This crux of the matter is well written. Good book review. Congratulations on the BOTD!

This book is about employee engagement and satisfaction. Companies have been conducting employee satisfaction surveys for years all searching for what could make employees happy and as a result increase productivity and profits. The official reviewer has had experience with this type of survey and has found that the survey should be focused on we, not me. What can we do to make the company a better place to work, not what can the company do to make me as an employee happy? Very good review.

This book is especially helpful to workers in the higher tier of the organizational chart. The title is catchy, and the research sounds interesting. Sadly, the test sample is not big enough to merit its credibility. I like books like this, but the repetitive concepts may put me off. Congratulations on the BOTD.

I'm still a college student and I have quite a few years before I go to work, so this book might be a bit early for me. Regardless, the concept looks quite interesting to me. The review is also very thorough and beautifully written.

A nice self help book "If Your Water Cooler Could Talk" by Dr. Jim Bohn, which tells us that the true increase in productivity and profits comes when the organization focuses on what the employee can do for it. This book looks valuable for managers.
life is only knowing the unknown, we can do this by reading books easily- Online book club is a great place for this. This is what I believe.
