I can relate to the story because I too have a younger sister. The bond between two siblings is indeed, very mysterious but sacred. I would love to read this book! Thanks for the review!

Based on the sample pages, as well as the review, this book seems to be cathartic. I hope it will help others who are going or have been through similar situations. Thanks to the authors for sharing their experiences, and thank you for a thorough review.

I have never read a book from both sides this way. The sisters are honest about their lives and everything they've been through. It’s given me permission to feel my feelings, good or bad, it’s given me insight into the plight of the addict and it’s restored hope in me so that I’m able to express that to my patients and my own sister. Congrats for BOTD.

This is a nice story. The tragedy of being brought up by a single parent is not a good through to go with.
Congrats on making the book of the day.

I liked how the author narrated the story from both sister's perspectives. The themes like family and hope never fail if done correctly. I will definitely give this book a try. Thanks for your excellent review.

The book will surely be good for learning some fact of life. I love it for being writing to actually depict a near truth story. Congrats on BOTD.

This sounds like a very fresh and exciting book. It seems raw and emotional. I think this is a nice approach to memoir. How do we relate to each other? And how does family bonds work? Thanks for your review.

This memoir tells of two sisters; one who marries and has a normal successful life and one who turns to drug addiction. I hope the family was able to heal from this hurtful situation. Congratulations to the two authors for telling about their lives and being chosen as BOTD. Thanks to the reviewer for your excellent review.

This book would be a must read! I can relate having been diagnosed with diabetes at age 6. There are things we all endure throughout our lives that mold us into the adults we become but all-in-all it is our choice which road we take in life...whether good or bad. I like that the author chose to view both sisters lives and points of view. Congrats on receiving BOTD!

This is such an interesting and yet emotional read. I'm wondering how a child of six years could be diabetic. I hope she finds joy and forge ahead with her life. Thanks for a detailed review.

Sounds like a wonderful book to read. Having a sister myself, I know what it's like to be very divergent in our lives but still find common ground.
