"The poems undoubtedly inspire, inform, entertain, and above all enlighten the reader about what truly matters most in life." This is quite the statement, and based on the review, it would seem that the author's poetry holds up to it. I look forward to getting into such meaningful poetry.

This seems to be a memoir told in verse. I am eager to meet the author and his family. I am curious about the dress on the cover, though.

It sounds like this collection of poems about God, family, and country really make an impact. It’s nice when we can be reminded to stop and admire the little things. Thanks for your review.

Family, faith and love for country seem to be prevalent themes in all these poems. I'm excited to sample a couple!

This review makes me really interested in reading this book! I love when people are able to cognitively reminisce things in a way that is engaging, and to have that walk down memory lane in a body of work, such as poetry, is such a unique and engaging way. I can't hardly wait to go along with Bob Dowell on this poetic journey!

God, family, and country are truly the things that matter the most and in that particular order too. I'd like to see how Bob fleshed these themes out in poetry. I know it's harder to pull of than with prose. Congrats on BOTD.

It's wonderful to know that despite being simple poems, the author used many literary devices and exceptional metaphors to make the whole work thought-provoking. I would love to explore his poetic take on the diverse issues of love, parenthood, family, faith, and the COVID-19 pandemic that you mentioned. Thanks for writing a very comprehensive and lovely review of this book!

The poetic compositions in this book seems to be interesting and enlightening. Unfortunately, I don't fancy reading poems. I'm not sure if I will read the book. Congratulations on being the BOTD.
