An excellent book that discusses what respect means and how it improves the relationship between the family members.

This short self-help book teaches that you have to give respect to others to earn respect for yourself. This would be a good lesson for young adults. Congratulations to the author for being chosen as BOTD. Thanks to the reviewer for your excellent and well written review.

'Official Review: Respect' by Dr. Monica Young Andrews states all the important points related to the theme of the book of the meaning of respect in one's life! I like the way the reviewer explores the larger issues, the book raises! The review contains valuable information about the author! The point that the author shares the stories of some individuals concerning the topic and helps the readers with real-life examples of the points she made is worth mentioning in the review! Nice to learn that the book is inspiring, educational, and well-written!

Thanks for the very meaningful review. The book is a family affair of a mother, a daughter and a granddaughter. Home is where RESPECT starts to be learned, practiced, shared ang fully ingrained. It is clearly and simply related by this review and the author of the book. RESPECT IS THE MOST IN DEMAND PILL TO HEAL THE WORLD.

A book that gives "insights into the things that cause disrespect and how to earn respect" is definitely a great book. I like it that the author gives real-life examples of the points she explains. I'm going to read this one. Congrats on the BOTD!

What does respect mean to you? If someone asks you to tell them how you think they should show respect to you, what would be your answer? I am sure that the answers to these questions would be subjective to some extent, but the bottom line is that we all want to be respected. In RESPECT: What Does It Mean To You by Dr. Monica Young Andrews, readers will gain insights into the things that cause disrespect and how to earn respect.

Dr. Monica recounts how she and her mother used to be at loggerheads when she was a teenager. Then, the author's mother would always complain that she wasn't respecting her. Being both young and having no idea what her mother meant, the author struggled to understand what she was doing wrong. As a result, that period of her life was a painful one. Today, both the author and her mother wish they had formed a better relationship back then. Hence, the author seeks to help teenagers, parents, and curious readers with an insightful dissection of what respect means.

A 74-page book loaded with information regarding how one should respect others. What does respect mean to you, an excellent question? The official review was very good.

It's really hard to put a definition on respect. I totally agree with the author when she says the respect definition changes with the current generation. She offers great insight on some really common but hard situtation in life. However, i found that asking questions in the book was a bit excessive even if it helped with the reflection. Great review!

I read a few pages before coming here and I was very impressed by what I had read. Thank you for your very insightful and detailed review. This is truly a book that each home with teenagers needs to have in it. Respect is becoming a dying life art, sadly. It needs to be brought back.
