Today's BOTD is a well-written and researched book in which the author shares her knowledge of Black history, starting with Lincoln, as well as her views and experiences regarding Black Americans through the present day, specifically the challenges, obstacles, and dangers many individuals face daily. Readers will not only find this info thought-provoking, but also very important to our future on a global scale. I hope everyone decides to read this book. Thank you so much for your helpful review! :-)

Every once in awhile you folks who write reviews really make me think I gotta read that book! This is 1 of those type of reviews. Your thoroughness of the subject matter and your heads up about the language is appreciated. Your respectfulness about the author’s thoughts not being wrong even if we disagree with those thoughts - I am thankful you added that.

The book subject is 1 I am interested in. I never understood why others would be looked down on just because of their skin color or culture. We are all people. Maybe I will understand better after I read this book.

This appears to be an important book, and I may check it out. Recently I've read books by Ibrahim X. Kendi, Heather McGhee, and Annette Gordon-Reed. This small, well-written book seems to complement those authors' concerns and observations perfectly. Congrats to Ms. Robinson on her accomplishment.

"Say My Name" by Vickey Robinson. An interesting Black American history book, talks about the free of slaves during President Lincoln and information from Martin Luther King, President Obama's presidency, President Trump's presidency. Then the COVID-19 impacts to Black Americans. Well written and detailed. Congrats on your #BOTD.

This does not seem like my kind of read. I am not a fan of history though I am intrigued by the fact that the author wrote about how the lives of Black people after slavery till now have been. I don't know why White Americans discriminate against Black Americans. These people were born and lived with them all their lives, I might even understand the discrimination against pure Africans but the truth is that blacks are always facing discrimination.

The book touches on important social and cultural issues, adding depth and relevance to the narrative. These are the reflections of a single individual on the dynamics between White and Black America, and how the divisions and disparities have left a lasting impact on generations of Black individuals. It offers a concise overview of how the United States has reached its current state of racial relations and how recent events have exposed enduring wounds that remain unhealed.

My conclusion, "Say My Name" by Vickey Robinson is a beautifully written and emotionally resonant book that explores themes of Slavery, identity, and self-discovery. It's a book that will stay with you long after you've turned the final page, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a heartfelt and thought-provoking read.

I think Its very important to talk about these topics of discrimination. A book written by a black woman and her insight on this topic sound like it'll be very insightful. This is a book I will seriously consider reading. It sounds like it'll be very insightful and a book I can definitely take something away from.

So this is a book by a black criticizing the blacks and their history and existence in America. I'll love to know if she is honest or biased in her judgement. Congratulations to the author on winning book of the day.

'Official Review: Say My Name: Thoughts of One Black Woman' by Vickey Robinson presents a useful summary of the book for readers. It describes the main points of the book effectively for avid readers. The point that the book is about the author's views on Black lives in America is worth mentioning in the review. The theme of the book about rights promised to all Americans was potent and appealing. Also, as mentioned in the review, the point that the pictures and poetry included in the book were enjoyable is remarkable for readers. I appreciate the advice offered to potential readers in the review!

The topic of racism and discrimination needs more light shined upon it! Do not ban books, let all information out! Free speech should inform and educate! "Say My Name" by Vickey Robinson is by a Black woman who has deep thoughts, opinions and stories that can open the readers eyes! This short book, according to the reviewer, could even be a text for high schoolers because it is truth as one woman sees it but probably as many people live it. Including history from Lincoln and the Civil War that freed all slaves in the US up to the current time and how Covid was handled for and with the Black community makes this a book that has been researched and well thought out.

I’m looking forward to digging this book to find out what Miss Robinson has to say about the sensitive topic of Black Americans and learn about her perspectives on what could be the hope for this plight she was referring to.

I would read the book right away because of History. I had an online friend who was very interested in trying to get the very first and root of this discrimination and I got more interested. Aside from the fact that I am very much interested in the evolution of man and the origin of inhabitants in different countries and the formation of races in different locations and consequences. I am aware of the discrimination happening around, but in my country, this is not so much an issue. Still, it would be good to know and learn how to be constantly aware of obvious and subtle discriminatory attitudes and how not to tolerate such.

Wow, I'd love to read this book so I can learn about black history. The discrimination they're facing is a major one. I'm not sure it's over yet, may God help them.
