I love how Victoria stays true to her nature and beliefs even when circumstances don't allow it. Her always striving for her faith in Christianity. This serves like a lesson to me that, no matter how hard it is, I should always stay true to my believe and always have faith that in the end, all shall be well. The road might not be easy but then, I believe at the end, faith will work wonders. I also love this book because it shows a life in the Pakistan culture for young women and some Muslim religious aspects. This is an exceptional book and I applaud the author for such a masterpiece. Thank you too for this wonderful review that provides a good insight of the book.

This sounds like a fascinating book detailing the life of a Christian as she grows up in a predominantly Muslim country.

It seems like an inspirational story, and the undaunted character of Victoria is an eminent aspect of this story.

This seems to be a shocking story. Just by reading the second paragraph of your review, I was connected to the story. I'm struck by the approach to the religious theme and how it's a key piece in Victoria's life. This is a book that I really want to read. Thank you for this very helpful and informative review.

That was a thoughtful topic to write about, Pakistan culture is so rich and somehow always captivate me in a way that is to say unique but the war situation made it worst, this was such an inspiring story indeed!

Reading the book seems so real, like a fight between the Muslims and Christians. The book read is found interesting and very understandable.
I'm Victoria in other ways learnt to adapt no matter how hard it seems.

I had no idea that even Christians had arranged marriages back then! The inclusion of facts about Pakistani culture is fascinating although I think the way they treat(ed) rape victims was appaling. Thanks for the revealing review.

Although the premise seems interesting, I have no desire to read this book. Most likely because I know people from/in Pakistan. Great review though.

This book gives an insight of Pakistani culture. I am curious to know about Victoria's hardships and the decision she will take to deal with them.

This book seems to give large insight of the discrimination that exists regarding Christianity and Pakistani culture. I wonder if Victoria learns to forgive her enemies? Thanks for the review! :tiphat:

This incredibly fascinating story will provide readers with insight into Pakistani culture and traditions. It will let them see through the eyes of a young Christian girl in a Muslim society what it is like to be ostracized for your faith. Thanks for the great review!
